We know the world would view those who worship in truth as disapproved by God. This is nothing new, when true worship became corrupted in the past this happened. It is not going to get better. People what to have their itchy ears scratched. This is why they are so indecisive. This is why they do not know what to think about all these crazy things happening. Because we know what God requires and refuse to accept what they believe we should feel or think about something they view us as bad people. It does not matter what they think it only matters what God and Jesus think.
The bible makes it clear there is one truth and one God. Those who do not worship in truth will cause God’s name to be spoken of abusively because of their hypocrisy. We need to follow Jesus example and do our best to pursue peace with all. We will be wronged often because of false religion and it is going to get much worse. Pursuing peace is going to become much more difficult. This is why is is very important to develop our skills at being peaceable now, so it will come naturally for us when things get much rougher. If we do not and we are not peaceable we could also cause Jehovah’s good name to be spoken of abusively.
I know it is difficult wanting people to know God like we do and to know Jesus like we do. We get a peace and comfort they do not enjoy because we have faith in the future promises. I feel kind of sad for them because they are living in constant fear and anxiety the closer this system comes to ending. Because they put their faith in things seen, and do not worship in spirit they cannot have faith in the things unseen. Because they cling to the false teachings , idols and the use of images in their worship they cannot draw as close to God as needed because they remain blinded.
Many still worship Jesus as if he was God. Instead of confessing he is Gods son and and that he is now our king, who will set matters straight before he hands the throne back to God. Because they can only put their faith in things they see they keep looking for signs of him returning in physical form and we know that is not how he will return. Jesus is now a spirit person sitting on the throne in heaven. This is why the bible told us the signs to look for, so we would know when his return was near and prepare. Very soon he is going to set matters straight. We need to stay focused and pursue peace so we will be ready, almost all the signs we have been told to look for have been fulfilled so we know deliverance is near. Very soon death will be done away with then Jesus will hand the kingdom back over to his father and the things occurring now will never occur again. We just need to hang on a little longer. So as we see these things occurring we can draw courage and not be afraid because we know deliverance is near.
Many will be deceived and will look for Christ to make a physical appearance but for those who worship in truth it would be obvious when Jesus returns so we will not be looking for his return in physical form and will not be easily deceived. We recognized he is a spiritual person sitting on the throne in heaven, so we know to look at the signs he told us to look for. This is why Jesus stated “Wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.” If you see eagles grouped together you know there must be a carcass nearby. So in other words he said it will be obvious to those who worship in spirit because they will have trained their spiritual eyes and know what to look for. When this occurs only those who did not worship in truth will have to be in fear. “(Revelation 8:13-9:4) 13 And I saw, and I heard an eagle flying in midheaven say with a loud voice: “Woe, woe, woe to those dwelling on the earth because of the rest of the trumpet blasts of the three angels who are about to blow their trumpets!” 9 The fifth angel blew his trumpet. And I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to the earth, and the key to the shaft of the abyss was given to him. 2 He opened the shaft of the abyss, and smoke ascended out of the shaft like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun was darkened, also the air, by the smoke of the shaft. 3 And locusts came out of the smoke onto the earth, and authority was given to them, the same authority that the scorpions of the earth have. 4 They were told not to harm the vegetation of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”
Anyone can be peaceful when things are going easy. But it takes someone who truly has faith, and love for Jesus and God to be peaceable even when times are very difficult. In doing so it helps set us apart from those who will be destroyed.
(2 Corinthians 13:5-8) 5 Keep testing whether you are in the faith; keep proving what you yourselves are. Or do you not recognize that Jesus Christ is in union with you? Unless you are disapproved. 6 I truly hope you will recognize that we are not disapproved. 7 Now we pray to God that you may do nothing wrong, not that we may appear approved, but that you may do what is fine, even if we may appear disapproved. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.
(Galatians 6:3-5) . . .. 4 But let each one examine his own actions, and then he will have cause for rejoicing in regard to himself alone, and not in comparison with the other person. 5 For each one will carry his own load.
(Romans 14:4) Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for Jehovah can make him stand.
(2 Corinthians 5:10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of the Christ, so that each one may be repaid according to the things he has practiced while in the body, whether good or bad.
(Philippians 2:13-16) 13 For God is the one who for the sake of his good pleasure energizes you, giving you both the desire and the power to act. 14 Keep doing all things free from murmuring and arguments, 15 so that you may come to be blameless and innocent, children of God without a blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you are shining as illuminators in the world, 16 keeping a tight grip on the word of life. Then I may have reason for rejoicing in Christ’s day, knowing that I did not run in vain or work hard in vain.
(Jeremiah 10:14, 15) 14 Every man acts unreasonably and without knowledge. Every metalworker will be put to shame because of the carved image; For his metal image is a falsehood, And there is no spirit in them. 15 They are a delusion, a work of mockery. When their day of reckoning comes, they will perish.
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18) 16 Therefore, we do not give up, but even if the man we are outside is wasting away, certainly the man we are inside is being renewed from day to day. 17 For though the tribulation is momentary and light, it works out for us a glory that is of more and more surpassing greatness and is everlasting; 18 while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting.
(2 Corinthians 5:7) for we are walking by faith, not by sight.
(Hebrews 11:1) Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen.
Galatians 1:10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant 2 of Christ.
(Romans 8:24) For we were saved in this hope; but hope that is seen is not hope, for when a man sees a thing, does he hope for it?
(2 Timothy 3:1-7) 3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 From among these arise men who slyly work their way into households and captivate weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
(John 8:31, 32) 31 Then Jesus went on to say to the Jews who had believed him: “If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. . .
(2 Corinthians 4:2-6) 2 But we have renounced the shameful, underhanded things, not walking with cunning or adulterating the word of God; but by making the truth manifest, we recommend ourselves to every human conscience in the sight of God. 3 If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. 5 For we are preaching, not about ourselves, but about Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God is the one who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate them with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ.
(John 4:24) 24 God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth.”
(Romans 12:1, 2) 12 Therefore, I appeal to you by the compassions of God, brothers, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, a sacred service with your power of reason. 2 And stop being molded by this system of things, but be transformed by making your mind over, so that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
(Hebrews 12:14) Pursue peace with all people and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.
(2 Peter 3:14) Therefore, beloved ones, since you are awaiting these things, do your utmost to be found finally by him spotless and unblemished and in peace.
(James 3:18) Moreover, the fruit of righteousness is sown in peaceful conditions for those who are making peace.
(1 Timothy 2:5) 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus,
(Ephesians 4:4-6) 4 One body there is, and one spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
(Hebrews 9:23-28) . . .. 24 For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with hands, which is a copy of the reality, but into heaven itself, so that he now appears before God on our behalf. 25 This was not done to offer himself often, as when the high priest enters into the holy place from year to year with blood that is not his own. 26 Otherwise, he would have to suffer often from the founding of the world. But now he has manifested himself once for all time at the conclusion of the systems of things to do away with sin through the sacrifice of himself. 27 And just as it is reserved for men to die once for all time, but after this to receive a judgment, 28 so also the Christ was offered once for all time to bear the sins of many; and the second time that he appears it will be apart from sin, and he will be seen by those earnestly looking for him for their salvation.
(1 John 4:14-16) . . .. 15 Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is God’s Son, God remains in union with such one and he in union with God. 16 And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us.. . .
(1 Corinthians 15:25-28) . . .. 26 And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. 27 For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.
(Luke 21:25-28) 25 “Also, there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation. 26 People will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near.”
(Matthew 24:23-28) 23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will perform great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25 Look! I have forewarned you. 26 Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For just as the lightning comes out of the east and shines over to the west, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 28 Wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
