Written by Lee Stevenson, sorry I am not the best editor.
Things are happening on a scale like they have never occurred before. Earthquakes, famine, disease, various illnesses, hatred violence and many other things are happening on a scale like they have never occurred before. But this is a good sign. Am I crazy saying this? I will show why we should not be afraid or overwhelmed by this system and the things that are occurring and the things that will occur to us. These are signs things are going to get much much better very soon.
Most know all the things Jesus told us to watch for have been fulfilled. The things mentioned in Matthew chapters 21 and 24, 2 Timothy 3:1-8 have been fulfilled. Jesus indicated those things would happen on a scale as we never seen before. We are now seeing this occur and it started around the time of the first world war. That was the first war that effected things globally. Since we are seeing things happen on a global scale like they never have before the opens our eyes to show we are awaiting the final prophecies and that is when God puts it into the heart of the beast and it’s allies to turn on false religion and destroy it. But false religion will get angry and also the beast will decide to turn on true worship. So we may ask why would Jesus in “Luke 21:28 28 But as these things start to occur, stand up straight and lift up your heads, because your deliverance is getting near.” . This is the mark of the beginning of the end of this wicked system and the rebellion against God that started in the garden of Eden. It means better times are very very near and we just need to hang on a little longer. The new system is near and yes we may have to endure some hard times but we need not let that discourage is. We are even told we would be betrayed by many and would need to be very very cautious since these are the last days. That is why I posted previous articles to prepare us for what is about to occur. This way we could know how to protect ourselves as things are winding down and improve our changes of making it into the new system. For some the signs this system is very near ending may seem scary. But if we have written God’s word in our hearts the bible says he would call to mind the things we have learned and written on our hearts to guide us through it. We write his world on our hearts by not doubting it no matter what we have to endure and letting it guide us an not rely on our own understanding or let fear and frustration overtake us. For some who have written God’s word on their hearts these are very very happy times because we know the wickedness, pain , suffering and illness and the many wicked things that occur are about to come to an end.
Now more then ever we need to focus on the hope the bible has given us of the future promises. We know when God gives his word he keeps it. God does not change and Jesus is our king and he perfectly imitated his father when he was on earth. So we can be certain he will protect and guide us through these last days if we do not lean on our own understanding or false reason with ourselves. The closer we get to the end of this system the more little things spiritually will matter. That is why the bible stated those who are disobedient in the least are disobedient in the most. If our faith in God waivers when we are going through trials and tribulation we may put our faith in the things of the world first, rely on our own understanding or even put our trust in people. What God would requires us to do is very very important now more then ever because it only takes one slight moment of doubt or lapse in loyalty to God or putting our faith in this system and the bad situations we may experience will get worse. Many will experience bad situations as this system winds down. We know that Satan and the angels who also turned away from God have been cast down to the earth. They know they do not have much time left and they are very angry so we will experience trials and tribulation on a scale never seen before. We should not leave this discourage us. This is a sign better times are very very near and we need to cling to Jehovah and Jesus now more then ever. What we will endure will be worth it because the wealth and material things of this system will be gone soon so will many of the people that others put their faith in. We have the hope of the future promises God has given us. Now I wills discuss why Jesus is our king and why we can trust him as we endure the end of this system.
We know Jesus earned the right to be our king. He remained loyal to God when he was in human form no matter what Satan threw at him. He even tried deceiving and tempting Jesus. When this failed he and his people resorted to violence and eventually they killed him. His faith and loyalty to God remained and they could not destroy it and cause him to fail. In doing so he defeated Satan and proved the original lies in the Garden wrong, that is man only obeys God because he protects them and gives them blessings. This provided a ransom because it was a perfect man Adam that sinned and a perfect ransom was given to provide the way for the resurrection because death which had been brought on by the rebellion in the garden has been defeated by Jesus when he defeated the original lies in the Garden of Eden.
Since Jesus experienced the suffering, trials and tribulation that we have we can be certain that he completely understands what we are enduring and wants to act on our part. We can be certain Jesus knows our pain, he experienced poverty, rejection by his own people, he experienced abandonment when the disciples abandoned him during his trial, he experienced injustice when he was tried for sins and crimes he did not commit, he experienced rejection, physical abuse, he was even mocked and made fun of. He experienced the weight of our sins and the injury they cause. He is fully aware of all our sufferings.
What will his ruling as king bring about before he hands the throne back over to God? As this system winds down there will be many of us who experience these things , the closer we are to God and the more faith we put in Jesus the more likely we are to experience these things. If we do experience these things for righteous reasons then we should not let us get discouraged it is nothing new and it is better to be rejected by the world then to be rejected by God and Jesus. Jesus warned that the student is no better then the teacher so if we truly are following Jesus we can expect to be attacked by Satan and his people. We should find encouragement in this because it is better to be rejected by the world and accepted by Jesus and God then to be accepted by the world and rejected by Jesus and God. So if we imitate Jesus and do our best to remain faithful and loyal to God This gives us hope in the future promises. What are the future promises and hope we have been given? God is the source of life. If we are rejected by him then what hope do we have? All the things in this system will be gone soon. When this system collapses what hope do those who put their faith in the world and this system have? Very soon those who control the wealth and power will be brought down. They do not have a close relationship with God meaning when all their money and power is gone they will be powerless while
We were promised there would be a new earth in which righteousness were to dwell. We are told God would answer our prayers before we were finish praying. The bible tells us there will be no more death , no more wickedness and that the bad memories would be replaced by good memories. We would get to see loved ones that we have lost from death. We will have a home to live in and not have to worry about losing it. We would have plenty of food to eat. There would no longer be violence wars , theft, hatred or the many other things that cause tribulation in this system. So when we are told to raise ourselves up Jesus is telling us to prepare because those promises are about to be fulfilled. Not only that but because of our human imperfection we may have good intentions and do what we think is right and harm people by accident. In the new system we will be made perfect and will not have to deal with the pain the comes when I innocently harmed someone whether spiritually, emotionally or even financially.
(Daniel 9:26, 27) “And after the 62 weeks, Mes·siʹah will be cut off, with nothing for himself. “And the people of a leader who is coming will destroy the city and the holy place. And its end will be by the flood. And until the end there will be war; what is decided upon is desolations. 27 “And he will keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week, he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease. “And on the wing of disgusting things there will be the one causing desolation; and until an extermination, what was decided on will be poured out also on the one lying desolate.”
(Matthew 24:15-22) 15 “Therefore, when you catch sight of the disgusting thing that causes desolation, as spoken about by Daniel the prophet, standing in a holy place (let the reader use discernment), 16 then let those in Ju·deʹa begin fleeing to the mountains. 17 Let the man on the housetop not come down to take the goods out of his house, 18 and let the man in the field not return to pick up his outer garment. 19 Woe to the pregnant women and those nursing a baby in those days! 20 Keep praying that your flight may not occur in wintertime nor on the Sabbath day; 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.
(Hebrews 4:14-16) . . .. 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tested in all respects as we have, but without sin. 16 Let us, then, approach the throne of undeserved kindness with freeness of speech, so that we may receive mercy and find undeserved kindness to help us at the right time.
(Hebrews 7:26) For it is fitting for us to have such a high priest who is loyal, innocent, undefiled, separated from the sinners, and exalted above the heavens.
(1 Peter 2:22) He committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth.
(John 15:20-27) 20 Keep in mind the word I said to you: A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have observed my word, they will also observe yours. 21 But they will do all these things against you on account of my name, because they do not know the One who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me also hates my Father. 24 If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have both seen me and hated me as well as my Father. 25 But this happened in order to fulfill the word written in their Law: ‘They hated me without cause.’ 26 When the helper comes that I will send you from the Father, the spirit of the truth, which comes from the Father, that one will bear witness about me; 27 and you, in turn, are to bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.
(1 Peter 2:21-25) 21 In fact, to this course you were called, because even Christ suffered for you, leaving a model for you to follow his steps closely. 22 He committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth. 23 When he was being insulted, he did not insult in return. When he was suffering, he did not threaten, but he entrusted himself to the One who judges righteously. 24 He himself bore our sins in his own body on the stake, so that we might die to sins and live to righteousness. And “by his wounds you were healed.” 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
(1 John 2:15-17) 15 Do not love either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
(Psalm 37:29) 29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.
(Psalm 37:37, 38) 37 Take note of the blameless one, And keep the upright one in sight, For the future of that man will be peaceful. 38 But all the transgressors will be destroyed; The future of wicked people will be cut off.
(Isaiah 65:17) 17 For look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be called to mind, Nor will they come up into the heart.
(2 Peter 3:11-13) 11 Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, consider what sort of people you ought to be in holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion, 12 as you await and keep close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah, through which the heavens will be destroyed in flames and the elements will melt in the intense heat! 13 But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.
(Revelation 21:1-4) 21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I also saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
(Revelation 21:26, 27) . . .. 27 But anything defiled and anyone who does what is disgusting and deceitful will in no way enter into it; only those written in the Lamb’s scroll of life will enter.
(Daniel 12:1, 2) 12 “During that time Miʹcha·el will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of your people. And there will occur a time of distress such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, everyone who is found written down in the book. 2 And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up, some to everlasting life and others to reproach and to everlasting contempt.
(Joel 2:31, 32) 31 The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood Before the coming of the great and awe-inspiring day of Jehovah. 32 And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved; For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, just as Jehovah has said, The survivors whom Jehovah calls.”
(Isaiah 65:22) 22 They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full.
