Inflammation does serve a purpose. It is involved in healing and immune response in the body. But excess inflammation can lead to chronic illness, immune dysfuction, and mental illness. Inflammation and nutrient deficiencies can lead to infection which cause and add to the inflammation and immune dysfunction. Imbalance in B or T cells can cause chronic inflammation, chronic inflammation can cause an imbalance in B and T cells. They are tightly connected to each other. I posted on autoimmunity with information on balancing the immune system. Reducing inflammation is also important to maintain homeostasis if we are chronically ill.

There are many types of cytokines in the body and many types of inflammation. If the cause is not addressed it can lead to chronic illness, autoimmunity and chronic pain. T Cell imbalance and inflammation are the commonality in autoimmune diseases this includes interstitial cystitis, arthritis, hardening of the arteries, obesity, lupus the list goes on and on. You must restore balance to the immune system and reduce inflammation to heal.

If you have sulfation issues or problems with lipid metabolism you cannot heal you need to get them straightened out. Many will take vitamin D3 to reduce inflammation but this can in some instances make things worse. Excess levels of vitamin D can cause high blood calcium levels which can result in oxalate formation. Those who have sarcoidosis which is an inflammatory disease that effects the organs have high levels of vitamin D3. I have seen many develop this when they have gotten and infection. This leads me to believe there are issue with the vitamin D receptor because problems with the vitamin D receptor will make us prone to illness. Those with sarcoidosis should avoid vitamin D until they get the issues causing the high vitamin D levels resolved. This is caused by upregulation of Cyp27b1 enzyme , the high levels of vitamin D inhibit the vitamin D receptor. This results in vitamin D binding to the Pregnane X receptor. This causes bile to be metabolized quicker reducing the amount of bile produced, this also causes issues with lipid metabolism resulting in lipid accumulation in the liver. Many of the symptoms caused by this are common in those with inflammatory bowel diseases. Make me believe there is a common tie. Maintaining our vitamin D levels is important but those with sarcoidosis probably should not take vitamin D3 but if they supplement it should be regular vitamin D like what is found in fish oil.

This is an example of a bad article. The advice may seem good but they mention spinach which if not cooked it will cause inflammatin because it is high oxalate. It needs to be boiled and the water dumped to reduce oxalates. It recommends fermented foods. Fermented foods are high histamine and if a person dealing with inflammation or high histamines eat fermented foods it will cause inflammation instead of reduce it. They also recommend high sulfur foods which normally would be very healthy but those with sulfation issues or gut dysbiosis who have high levels of sulfur digesting bacteria will become sicker and develop inflammation and high oxidative stress levels. High resistin is blamed for causing diabetes type 2 and cardiovascular disease. Infection, leaky gut and oxidative stress can cause high resistin levels. It is usually an issue in the gut. It can also be caused by zinc deficiency. High endotoxins cause the body to release inflammasomes which activate Gasdermin. Gasdermin causes pyropoptoses. Since resistin protects us and if you read my post on cholesterol you will see it also protects us, what does allopathic medicine do. They see the resistin as something that needs reduced which would further add to the health problems but that is ok they will find a drug to treat those symptoms also. There are many things that cause inflammation and metabolic issues. This results in mold sensitivity. If you are sensitive to mold it is a symptom not the cause. Most mold the body can detox easily until something goes wrong. There are molds that are dangerous but you would have to breath large quantities of them in directly. In the U.S. over farming and the use of glyphosate has cause nutrient deficiencies. Over farming depletes minerals from the soils. Processed sugar has been found to cause inflammation that can lead to obesity and heart disease. Fructose is much worse then sugar. But when I looked at studies on those products in their natural forms they did not have ill effects. So apparently our bodies were not meant to have them in purified forms. Tea tree oil works great for reducing histamines, and substance P in the skin. It reduces inflammation and has great disinfectant properties. It is too strong to use straight. I chose plant derived enzymes. They reduce inflammation, reduce mast cell degranulation which reduces histamines. They help the food break down and be absorbed by the digestive system. I tried to match the enzymes with the types of foods they broke down so what I was going to eat determined what enzymes I would use. If we are deficient in digestive enzymes we will develop gut dysbiosis, bloating, intestinal inflammation, malabsorption, all things that lead to chronic illness. Farm chemicals which are high in our food supply and processed foods inhibit our digestive enzymes. We also will develop fatigue because it inhibits the bodies ability to produce cellular energy. They help prevent cystic fibrosis and asthma. If inflammation or infection persist it can develop into brochhiectasis which causes excess mucus in the lungs. Brochiectasis can result from inflammatory bowel disease, autoimmune disease, and allergies also. High levels of H2S producing bacteria in the gut can deplete thioredoxin which results in thiol build up in the body making us sensitive to thiols and causing hormone imbalances. I am still uncertain about HDAC inhibitors reducing oxidative stress and increasing things that deal with oxidative stress would be a better route to go. C-reactive protein causes inflammation. It is a sign of bacteria infection. If C-reactive levels are high for too long it can damage the bladder and lead to chronic illness like cardiovascular disease, diabetes and autoimmunity. C-reactive levels are high in most chronic illness especially heart disease and interstitial cystitis. It is usually caused by infection yet I have seen many go years with high C-reactive levels and refused antibiotic treatment because they are told they do not have and infection. Because probiotics can cause sepsis if you have ulcers or your gut is too porous I consumed a lot of mucilage and took bismuth in order to make sure my gut healed enough that would not happen.

There is a myth we should alkaize our digestive system must be acidic and alkalinity cause pathogenic and hydrogen sulfide producing bacteria to increase. This causes sulfation issues and increased ammonia getting the body stuck in a cycle. Bile and digestive enzymes become inhibited which cause high estrogen levels and copper will become biounavailable. You must break this cycle by getting ammonia levels down. BH4 levels get low when this happens eating protein increases ammonia levels. Short chain fatty acids balance our T cells so it is important to increase SCFA producing bacteria. I did a blog post on reducing ammonia levels (alkalosis). I did a post on reducing akalosis. I also did a summary of my notes which covers many of these things. If you search for akalosis and summary you should be able to find the information.

Fiber especially inulin increases the good gut bacteria. Exercise also increases our good gut bacteria. Reducing stress or learning to deal with stress increases our good gut bacteria. Ghee is high in butyrate which increases our good gut bacteria.

Egg and milk allergies indicate high Staphylococcus Aureus levels. This is caused by low microbiota that breaks up biofilms and produces natural antibiotics. This can also be caused by low lactobacillus paracasei, lactobacillus adolenscentis and lactobacillus rhamnosis levels.

I do not mention the strains that produce histamines because they are usually not a problem unless something is wrong in the body and they are needed for gut and body health. Avoiding the foods that cause them to produce histamines is more effective. Fermented foods, and aged meats and many cheeses will cause them to produce histamines. Some cheeses like Gouda and Parmesion have species of microbes that reduce histamines. This is why overconsumption of them can cause constipation because histamine stimulates stomache acid production. Those with low stomach acid production may benefit from eating foods that increase histamines.

An imbalance in our gut bacteria can lead to the production of high substance P levels which leads to systematic inflammation. If levels get high enough a person will start to lose their hair, they will get burning in their skin especially at night. The burning mostly occurs in the scalp and down the spine. I posted on how to reduce substance P.

When replacing a microbe you may be lacking it is normal to experience cramps and bloating until they get established. Taking the same probiotic daily can cause gut dysbiosis which is as bad as when candida goes pathogenic and can cause candida and H Pylori to switch from commensal to pathogenic. Probiotics should be alternated and one should take a break from them to let the microbial community balance out.

Most Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus have some oxalate degrading abilities. The microbiota that produce vitamin B12 need chromium to be present to produce it.

Exercise increases our good gut bacteria. Stress and trauma increase our bad bacteria so it is very important to learn to meditate , pray and not to dwell on things you can do nothing about and do your best to get over trauma and do not hold grudges or be resentful or hateful. When we have a lot of negative emotions it increases the gut bacteria that increases adrenaline and it can tax our adrenals.

Diets rich on complex carbohydrates have been shown to prevent infection from food born pathogens. Processed sugar has been found to dramatically increase risk of infection from ford born pathogens.

Often times a persons microbiome is influenced by their sexual partners. Their sexual partner may have different metabolic factors so could appear to be unaffected. Usually a person sexual partner should be treated for dysbiosis or infection also to prevent constant reinfection or constant microbiome disruption.

Galacto-oligosaccharides increase absorption of nutrients, and increase the beneficial bacteria that are important in health mental health and cognition. It prevents constipation and helps protect from food born pathogens. It increases the microbiome that reduces anxiety and pain. It is derived from raw milk and is destroyed during pasteurizing. It also decreases the risk of pulmonary infections. It reduces almost all inflammatory markers in the body. It reduces intestinal inflammation. Galacto-oligosaccharid and fructo-oligosaccharid helps to prevent diabetes.

Our bodies secrete FUT2 to modulate our immune system and to keep our good microbiome health. Many things can make us deficient in FUT2 enzymes which causes a loss of our good gut microbiome and can lead to inflammatory bowel diseases and gut dysbiosis. Fructooligosaccharide and oligosaccharides can replace FUT2 until it is corrected. This is can also result from a deficiency in the microbiota that stimulate IL-22

A loss of our gut microbiome can cause raised zonulin levels which results in many food intolerances, metabolic issues , increase susceptibility to infection and if not corrected can lead to acidosis or alkalosis. Zonulin regulates gut permeability if levels get too low we can develop malabsorption issues. If zonulin levels get to high we can develop many health problems. It can also lead to interstitial cystitis and damage the blood brain barrier which results in the loss of protection of the brain and can lead to infection , encephalopathy and even chira which is a life threatening condition. Increased zonulin levels causes depression, anxiety and can even cause paranoid delusions and psychosis. Mold toxins can increase zonulin levels. BT Toxin found in GMO increase zonulin levels. Farm chemicals which are found to be heavy in our food increases zonulin levels especially glyphosate and glufosinate. It is very important to eat organic when possible. A diet high in fiber and resistant starches increases the microbes that reduce zonulin. Oddly our sterile lifestyles have caused a loss of the microbes that keep zonulin levels balanced. They have found those who are in nature and work with the soil a lot get the good microbes that keep zonulin levels balanced. Unfortunately glyphosate and glufosinate are killing those microbes in the soil which is making it more and more difficult for a person to get those microbes. Endotoxins and mycotoxins increase zonulin levels making us more prone to leaky gut. Leaky gut causes systematic inflammation which can lead to autoimmunity. Butyrate producing gut bacteria reduce zonulin levels helping to prevent leaky gut. Butter and raw milk is high in butyrate. Inflammation causes increased zonulin levels so microbes that reduce inflammation will decrease zonulin. When zonulin levels are how toxins the body would not absorb but would get excreted are easily absorbed which causes high heavy metal and other toxins levels in the body. High zonulin levels also result in food particles entering the blood stream which causes a lot of food sensitivities. This can be corrected by addressing the leaky gut. When zonulin levels are high it increases mast cell degranulation which can lead to mast cell activation syndrome or mastocytosis. This increases histamines leading to autoimmunity and allergies. This also will correct itself once zonulin levels are reduce. Those with high zonulin levels should avoid gluten and gliaden until it is corrected because they raise zonulin levels. High zonulin and high inflammation levels has been linked to just about all types of chronic illness. Inflammation can cause high zonulin levels, high zonulin levels can lead to inflammation creating a cycle that is difficult to break. Inflammation disables the immune system and is why so many illnesses like tick born illness, candida and many other infections are becoming epidemic. Almost all illness can be link to zonulin.

Our gut microbiome regulate our zonulin levels which regulates the tight junction layer. When zonulin is high then we develop leaky gut which causes chronic illness and even effects our brains. Our gut bacteria even regulate our HPA axis. Microbes that increase IL-10, T regulatory cells and reduce inflammation will reduce zonulin levels which will restore the tight junction protein layer. Also stress increases zonulin so microbes that reduce stress will also decrease zonulin levels.

Our sterile lives have added to the increase in zonulin levels. Also nutrient deficiencies cause by over farming land and chemicals like glyphosate and glufosinate that chelate nutrients are causing nutrient deficiencies which increases zonulin. Nutrient deficiencies also stimulate zonulin and so do bad fats and excessive meat consumption. Excess vitamin B12 increases zonulin levels. I do not supplement with it, I nurture my gut microbiota that produce it and I make sure I get cobalt which they need to produce B12. On the other end of the scale zonulin deficiency can result in the inability to absorb nutrients. This shows the importance of learning to achieve homeostasis. I cannot find studies showing that inhibited zonulin causes malabsorption but I have noticed those who have high levels of the bacteria that inhibit zonulin and low levels of the ones that stimulate zonulin have malabsorption issues.

High zonulin levels can lead to decreased intestinal motility which causes the food to sit in the digestive tract and ferment instead of digesting. This increases the ammonia, hydrogen, sulfide and methane producing microbes which raises zonulin levels even higher. If I ever get a chance to write a book I will cover it in more detail. Once this cycle starts it is very hard to break and a person will not be able to absorb nutrients because their food is not getting broken down properly.

So all this being said the bigger the variety of gut microbes we have the more balanced our zonulin becomes.

Butyrate producing microbiota increase TGF-B which is needed to prevent some commensals from becoming harmful. A deficiency in TGF-B can lead to inflammatory bowel disease which can cause bile to be inhibited. The most important of these are F Prausnitzii, Clostridium Leptum, Eubacterium Rectale and Roseburia. If deficient in IL-10 or TGF-B the microbiota that stimulates bile will become pathogenic in nature IL-10 and TGF-B work together to keep them in check so they continue to function properly. I discuss bile in more detail at the end of this article.

Raw potatoes, inulin, chickpeas and other legumes feed the gut bacteria that prevent gliaden and gluten intolerance. Too much of these can increase the glucose levels in the blood. That may be good for those with malabsorption but high glucose levels can lead to cancer and other health problems.

Increased CB1 receptor activation causes leaky gut which can lead to food intolerances from our gut becoming too porous. This can lead to increased LPS levels which can lead to endotoxemia and sepsis. Increased zonulin also does this. Stress increases zonulin.

The PH of the gut and bladder should be between 4 to 5. The lower the number the more acidic the high the number the more alkaline. We do not want alkaline it causes infection and gut dysbiosis. Candida and H Pylori will go from commensal to pathogenic.

Bloating can be from taking too much of a certain probiotic which can lead to dysbiosis , inflammation, ulcerations, or high histamines. High histamines will cause acid reflux. Low histamine inhibits bile and will cause bile reflux constipation and low stomach acid production. If you have low histamines fermented foods will increase the histamine producing bacteria but be cautious do not increase them too far. We can also become bloated if candid or H Pylori go from commensal to pathogenic.

Increased gut permeability (leaky gut) can lead to bone loss, autoimmunity, and many metabolic issues.

Our gut bacteria need carbohydrates but many avoid them. There are good carbs and bad carbs.

A microbiotia accessable carbohydrate diet increases beneficial bacteria that produce short chain fatty acid. This consist of fiber and carbohydrates. This increases the bacteria that produce short chain fatty acids. If we do not produce enough SCFA we will become constipated and bile production will become inhibited. This will also happen if we develop malabsorption from having high bacteroidetes, methane producing and sulfur digesting bacteria. They contribute to malabsorption, constipation and inhibited bile production from a lack of SCFA in the body. Our blood glucose levels will also become very low and we may develop high insulin levels. Clostridium infection is also a major cause of this and indicates we are lacking the microbiota that protect us from it. This can cause a cycle that is hard to break because bile is needed to prevent clostridium infection.

High histamines usually indicates low bifidobacterium levels. Bifidobacterium degrade histamines. Low Bifidobacterium can cause weight gain in some people and can lead to anxiety, difficulty sleeping and difficulty concentrating. Our histamine degrading bacteria need vitamins A,C, E and Zinc. Bifidobacterium which there are many species produce folate. Most Bifidobacterium increases IgA which prevents food intolerances and allergies. Bifidobacterium also break down gliaden. Excess gliaden can raise zonulin levels leading to the tight junction layer becoming more permeable resulting in leaky gut.

Lactobacillus needs vitamin A and consuming it has been shown to restore lactobacillus. Most lactobacillus prevent candida and fungus infections. Most Lactobacillus prevent lung infection. Most Lactobacillus increase IL-10. IL-10 is needed for commensalism. Those deficient in Lactobacillus will be extremely underweight.

I view this one as a dangerous pathogen even though it is used in probiotics when the body is weak it can make a person very very ill.

It also helps prevent lactose intolerance. It helps prevent liver disease and has been shown to reduce the risk of getting the common cold. It prevents dermatitis and eczema. It has been shown to help with inflammatory bowel disease. It prevents tooth decay and also prevents infection in the intestines and prevents pouchitis. It prevents constipation. It helps neutralize many toxins.

Odoribacter Splanchnicus a loss of Odoribacter causes a loss of SCFA availibility which leads to inflammation and low glucose levels. Deficiency in O Splanchnicus can lead to hypertension and diabetes. Low levels of O Splanchnicus can also lead to interstitial cystitis. It is important for absorption of nutrients and in maintaining a healthy gut. Has been shown to prevent atherosclerosis. Requires glucose, galactose, salicin, trehalose, arabinose, fructose or mannose. Inhibits many of the sulfur digesting bacteria that can cause high sulfite levels and high hydrogen sulfide levels. O Splanchnicus also breaks down phytoestrogens found in many plants.

Lactinifactor Longoviformis breaks down phytoestrogens found in many plants.

Arthrobacter Agilis it produces carotenoids which the body can convert to vitamin A. It reduces the risk of Parkinson’s disease. They degrade many pesticides. It prevents fungus infection but I am not comfortable with Arthobacter species because some of them produce antifreeze and I cannot find any research to show with this one did or not. I do not feel this is a safe probiotic and I have not spoken to anyone who had used it.

Eubacterium Halli it produces butyurate from acetate, glucose and lactate. It produces vitamin B12. It is important for homeostasis in the body and produces SCFA. It improves insulin sensitivity and normalizes blood glucose levels. It cannot process complex carbohydrate and needs bifidobacterium to exist. It makes some carcinogens harmless.

Arthrobacter Globiformis uses sugar as it’s main source of food. It uses sugar and ammonia. It’s byproducts are nitrogen and hydralimine. I do not know the health effects of these but it can break down many toxins in the enviroment but I do not feel comfortable using these as a probiotic I have not seen enough research on the use of this. Their are many of the Arthrobacter species that are used for probiotics and almost all of them break down some form of toxin but I cannot find research on their safety or effectiveness.

Pediococcus acidilactici it has been shown to reduce gastrointestinal distress. It prevents infections by food born pathogens and has been shown to stop bloody diarrhea. It also prevents constipation. Has been show to stop excessive vomiting. It has been shown to fight pathogenic parasites. It increases IL-10 and T regulatory cells which would balance the immune system. It has also been shown to fight fungal infections.

Most Bacillus species convert genotoxic substances to non toxic substances. Bacillus species are found in the soil and in humans. Some can be pathogenic. Man soil based bacteria improve nutrient absorption. There are other strains of Bacillus species but I did not list them because they have the ability to produce endotoxins. Bacillus species help break down food better which improves nutrient absorption. They should be taken with food or they do not get established well. Many of the Bacillus species secrete amylase and lipase. Amylase helps break down carbohydrates and lipase breaks down fats. Bacillus species may help those with malabsorption issues. Bacillus species detox a lot of toxins including mycotoxins found in fungus and molds. Mycotoxins can cause birth defects, sterility, it can increase estrogen levels. Bacillus Lacterosporous is found in soil and humans. It fights fungus. Helps prevent leaky gut. It also fights mycoplasma infection. I have not seen studies on the effectiveness or safety of this microbe.

Bacillus Firmis promotes the differentiation of B lymphocytes to Ig producing and secreting cells. It stimulates the repair of blood vessels.

Bacillus Clausii stimulates the production of IgA but requires GALT. Prevents lung infections has been used successfully to treat those who get recurrent respiratory infections. Has also been used successfully to treat acute diarrhea. Studies show it is safe for human consumption. It protects the body from endotoxins.

Bacillus Licheniformis prevents biofilm formation of pathogens. Prevents the build up of amyloid plaque which contributes to amyloidosis and Alzheimer’s. Amyloid can also destroy beta cells leading to diabetes.

Bacteroides Fragilis promotes the production of GALT.

Phages P. Aerugonosa protect against E Faicalis and many food born pathogens.

Bacteroidetes- there are many species. Meat consumption increases their numbers. If bacteroidetes get too high it can result in weight gain or weight loss from malabsorption. It can cause the inability to absorb fats preventing bile production. It can cause the pancreatic enzymes to become inhibitited and cause phenylketonuria which results in high ammonia levels. It can cause BH4 enzyme deficiency, which can lead to CBS upregulation which can lead to high sulfite levels. This can cause the citric acid cycle to shut down leading to high estrogen levels, high unbound copper levels which farther inhibit the bodies ability to produce bile. This farther increases estrogen levels and levels of unbound copper. This lead to inflammatory bowel disease and malabsorption issues. A person with high Bacteroidetes levels will be high in butyrate and proprianic acid, acetate levels may be high also. They will be low in malanic acid. This also leads to high ammonia levels which causes many other health issues and causes Candida and H pylori to go from commensal to pathogenic. Many with this problem will develop bile acid gird. This also makes someone prone to clostridium infection along with many other pathogens.

If this persist long enough a person can develop interstitial cystitis. This is a common problem in those born by C section and who are formula feed. This also leads to a lot of food intolerances especially milk and glutin along with gliaden. This also can result in thiamine deficiency.

Consuming high amounts of meat can result in high bacteroidetes, methane producing bacteria and increased sulfur digesting bacteria. This can result in high levels of sulfite which will interfere with sulfation and cause many health issues. It can also cause high levels of hydrogen sulfide which will lower blood pressure at first then if levels get high enough it will increase blood pressure and cause severe inflammation. Another thing that inhibits bile production is extended use of antibiotics. It reduces our good gut microbiome. Muscrarlis Macrophages detect our good gut microbiomes LPS. With the decrease in our good gut microbiome and loss of their LPS to signal muscarlis macrophages dysbiosis occurs which leads to inhibited intestinal motility which causes a loss of bile production and pancreatic enzyme production. A loss of bile production prevents nutrient absorption, the pancreas will not receive the feedback from our intestines and will quit producing enzymes. Burning scalp and skin, brown blotches, possible hair loss. What could be causing it? Substance P.

Burning in the scalp that may radiate across your face and down your spine. When it gets more severe you will get restless legs and pain in the feet. Your hair may start falling out. To stop my hair from falling out I put 5 drops of tea tree oil in 8 ounces of Jojoba oil it also stopped the burning in my skin. It may be difficult to wear clothing because the skin may be uncomfortable or even painful to the touch. Women may experience vaginal discomfort. You also will experience pain in the body that moves around, especially in the chest.

This is caused by high Substance P levels and the condition is called Trichodynia. Substance P levels become raised when there is inflammation in the nerves especially in the central nervous system.

I did find it odd that these things also help with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. I will need to see if there is a substance P and PCOS connection.

Most of the medical community has been taught to try and prescribe psych meds for this. That tell me that allopathic medicine does not know how to deal with it. Anytime they prescribe psych meds for a physical illness it means they lack the knowledge to know what to do so they try to offer comfort through pills thinking they can make you forget the pain.

Interstitial Cystitis can be put in remission. There are many causes like toxins in our environment, pathogens. Mine is caused by Lyme disease. There are studies that have shown that up to 80% of those with interstitial cystitis have tick born illness. Vaccine injury is also a cause of interstitial cystitis. I will list things that have helped my friends and I at the end of this article.

Each of us is unique we have to figure out the cause. Many of us have metabolic issues like inhibited sulfation or upregulated CBS or BH4 pathways which causes interstitial cystitis. All this can be caused by toxins, endotoxins from infection and the toxins in vaccinations which stay in the body for years. The key to going into remission is figuring out what our metabolic and immune issues are and addressing them. Many of the things I mentioned cause leaky gut so it must be healed. All the things I mentioned above cause high oxalate levels so we must watch our oxalate intake. Also high doses of vitamin C and vitamin D can cause oxalates so we must do those in moderation. Most recommend we do not do over 4000 IU of vitamin D a day. Because our skin can make vitamin D from sun light life guards have the highest incidence of kidney stones. Sun light is good and needed but do not over do it.

That being said I am going to list sites of people who have gotten their IC into remission. The reason I say remission many I know who have recovered still have temporary short term episodes but because we have learned how to recover they do not last long. So I believe we never fully get rid of IC.

D-Mannose in cranberries does help the bladder and you can buy it as a separate supplement. I do not recommend cranberry juice for any bladder issues because of it’s oxalate content. Before I got my gut straightened out my brain was a mess. We need butyric acid but our limited diets prevent us from eating the foods that contain it like milk products and the plants that contain the fiber many of us cannot eat because of sulfation issues which many plants that contain inulin which our gut bacteria produce butyric acid from are high in sulfur. Reducing Cholesterol, LDL is a symptom not a cause.

Cholesterol Dysregulation/High LDL

This is not medical advice I am sharing what I have learned from me fellow suffers. I am posting this to give others some ideas of things they could research. If you are ill you should see a doctor. Make sure if you are using alternative methods of healing you inform your doctor. I believe before getting treated for any pathogen you should always do a detox protocol first because most damage from being ill is from the endotoxins and exotoxins produced by the pathogens especially when they are dying off. If you have high Low Density Lipid cholesterol levels (LDL) then you most likely have an auto immune disease brought on by Vaccine Injury, Lyme Disease, toxins in the environment, many pathogens can cause Cholesterol Dysregulation, GMOs are known to destroy our guts which causes autoimmune disease and cholesterol dysregulation. Also bad eating habits, to much sugar causes inflammation which can cause oxidative stress which will raise oxLDL levels. Processed foods are high in oxLDL. Cooking increases oxLDL levels in food. Eat raw when possible. Eating processed foods. LDL is oxidized Cholesterol. If you have a lot of oxidative stress , like working too much, stress in our environment, toxins. Many things can cause oxidative stress. This causes the cholesterol to be oxidized much quicker. Gut problems can also cause high LDL levels. If we are having problems with our digestive system then our bile production will decline.

Endothelial Cells help in bile production, if they are not healthy then our production of bile declines decreasing our ability to remove LDL from our bodies. There is also a layer called Tight Junction Protein layer if it is damaged particles can get into our blood stream causing a histamine response which can cause inflammation throughout the body which can result in many problems, autoimmune disease, interstitial cystitis the list goes on and on the inflammation can interfere with many metabolic functions which could cause a rise in LDL levels. It isn’t much how much cholesterol we take in but the type and our environment that affects our LDL levels. Liver and Bladder problems brought on by all the above can cause Cholesterol Dysregulation.

If the Nrf2 pathways become blocked it will cause high LDL levels. Especially if the Pentose Phosphate Pathway becomes hindered or blocked. Another thing that can cause Cholesterol Dysregulation and this one surprised me but is also affected by autoimmune disease so it shouldn’t have is the Lymph Nodes. If they are plugged or infected they cannot help keep the blood cleaned out.
Get plenty of good cholesterol from sources such as coconut oil or avocados. Cholesterol is an antioxidant. If oxLDL is high it is a sign of excess oxidative stress or inflammation and the body is trying to protect itself. High oxLDL is a symptom not the cause. Lowering cholesterol will effect the brain and muscles negatively because they cannot function without it and the brain can suffer permanent damage if it does not get enough cholesterol. When I get a chance I will add the supporting links for these statements. .

Now That We Know The Problem Let’s Try To Solve it. The first thing I would do is work on reducing inflammation and lowering histamines. If you do have gut problems that would be the place to start. Next I would work on the methylation pathways. I covered some of that in my note on detoxing. I covered the CBS pathway also in that note. If it is blocked you will have trouble getting the Nrf2 ( nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2) pathways opened up because anything that raises gluthione production with cause you to feel ill. Another problem is antioxidants will actually cause you cancer if you take them too often or if the Nrf2 pathways are blocked. Don’t over do it with antioxidants and make sure you work on getting your Nrf2 pathways opened. Now some things that help open the Nrf2 pathway can also stimulate it so you do not want to over do it. When you start feeling better back of a bit. It is a good idea to space your supplements out anyways. Some things that will open the Nrf2 pathways are Oleanic Acid found in Savory and Olive Oil. Taxifolin (dihydroquerciten) also helps open them, it is a super antioxidant and one of the few that doesn’t need the Nrf2 to function. It is like Querciten on steroid. Chaga Mushrooms have Super Oxide Dismutase which helps the body in many areas. It is the only source I know of that the SOD is readily absorbed by the body, all the other sources have a low absorption rate. Do not take too much, raising SOD too high can raise reactive oxygen species which would have the opposite effect.

Cruciferous vegetables are high in sulforapanes which help open and stimulate the Nrf2. Make sure you do not have sulfation issue which can be caused by vaccine inujury , toxins like mercury and glyphosate. This will raise your sulfite levels which will cause high ammonia levels and high reactive oxygen species which causes damage from the oxy radicals being produced.

If NADP (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate gets too high then the Pentose Phosphate Pathway could be inhibited. Low doses of Niacin along with Zinc, Vitamin C(too much vitamin C can destroy red blood cells, also man made vitamin C cause oxalates), NAD+, Vitamin D3, Curcumin, Querciten, Resveratol, Another thing that happens is if your methylation pathways aren’t working right or you have and infection your ammonia and hydrogen peroxide levels can go up and it will cause Cholesterol to oxidize. You would think that taking an antioxidant would be the solution but as stated earlier make sure you detox and get your methylation pathways corrected or that can do more harm then good. Now if you worked on your gut and methylation pathways. Then I believe we should work on the liver next. From my research I am lead to believe that oils high in monosatuarated fats produce less LDL when they are subject to heat. Some oil that are supposed to be good for cooking with high heat are. Hazel Nut Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Peanut Oil, Safflower Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, and Rice Bran Oil. Sun Flower is supposed to be one of the best but it scares me because Sunflower is used to pull toxins out of the soil. Canola is supposed to be good but most canola is GMO now. We need to be careful getting too many Omega-6, studies have shown if levels get too high we can develop mental issues even become violent, they can cause endothelial dysfunction which can cause high LDL levels, and cause inflammation.

So now if you worked on the above mentioned problems we are ready to move on to other issues we may have. Avoid Trans-Fats, unsaturated and saturated fats are bad fats and cause oxLDLs to go up. Reduce intake of Corn, Wheat, and processed sugar. They cause inflammation which for various reasons can cause oxLDL levels to go up. Termina Chebula – has many nutrients that help with methylation. Has many antioxidants, has also been shown to fight gum disease. Tyrosine – if you are not methylating properly your body cannot produce it. It is used by your body to build neuro transmitters and various proteins. Good sources are nuts, avocados, bananas, dairy products, beans and seeds. Ginkgo Biloba – improves the bodies use of oxygen but use in moderation, if used too long or in high doses it can damage the liver. Ginkgo Biloba with Raynaulds sysndrome and depression. P5P methylcolbamin molybdenum and manganese 3 times a week.  Those should help get the body methylating. When the methylation pathways open the body will start detoxing so you should continue the detox protocols the whole time. This could cause the bladder to become irritated again until the toxin levels are down. Those with certain methylation issues need to research before taking those.

The liver Of course drink good clean Chlorine free water. Chlorine is very toxic to the body and very difficult to remove from the body. Do not use flouride it is pretty much the same thing., If you are having problems with ammonia levels still I would suggest taking bromelain and betaine. Also Bacopa is supposed to helps. Papain is supposed to reduce symptoms of fatty liver. Omega-3 oils also help reduce fatty liver symptoms, I alternate the types of Omega 3s I use because each has it’s own benefits. Inositol Hexaphospate (IP6) is supposed to help clean the renal system out. Rosmarinic Acid, Ginger, Ashwangha, and Boswellia are all supposed to help with lipid peroxidation using these for too long or too much can have side effects. If the Nrf2 pathway is working antioxidants like Pycgenol, Lycopene, Allicin etc help lower lipid peroxidation.

CoQ10 is involved in the processes for producing energy for the cells. I use Ubiuinol it is the unoxidized form of CoQ10. Some things that can improve bile flow are Artichoke , Danshen, Prenylated Chalcone, Yarrow Root, Fennel Seed, Dandelion, Trolox, and Carom Seed have been shown to stimulate bile flow. Hesperetin has been shown to be powerful against lipid peroxidation. Aegle Marmelos is know to inhibit lipid peroxidation. Pinelba has been shown to protect the gut and inhibit lipid peroxidation. Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium, Iron, all help to produce bile, they need glycine and taurine to be bile.

Astanxanthin is another potent antioxidant. It reduces peroxide levels, and can cross the blood brain barrier to reduce swelling and provide the brain with energy. Catalase and Chloine also help to reduce lipid peroxidation. If you are low in choline you may get indigestion after consuming any fats. Golden Rod, Japanese Honeysuckle (most other honeysuckles are toxic) have been known to help clean the renal system out.

Lymph Nodes There are many things that can cause the lymph nodes to become plug. Not enough exercise , bad eating habits, environmental toxins, stress, not enough sleep, pathogens. Mold infections are another culprit. Vaccine and GMO damage the list could go on and on. If you read my not on detoxing then you should be half way to getting the Lymph Nodes cleaned out. There are special exercises and massage techniques that can be used to help clear the lymph nodes out. Also brushing the skin to ex-foliate also helps to clean the lymph glans out. Threonine – Helps prevent fatty liver, helps maintain proper protein balance in the body. Helps break down fats. Most vegetarians are low in this.

Pectin – shown to break biofilms, lowers bad cholesterol levels. Avena (Oat Straw) Helps balance our electrolytes. Has many nutrients needed for healing and proper functioning of the lymphatic system, helps improve cardiovascular health. Also has relaxant qualities. Most say it doesn’t affect them but it knocks me out.

Joe Pye – has been shown to fight renal infection. Should not be taken for extended periods of time because it is a sodium channel blocker.

Acanthus Ilicifolius – increases production of osteoblast which are necessary for bone growth and health. Has been shown to help gastric ulcers heal. There are many plants in the Smilax family in my area which is the eastern part of the United States. The ones I am familiar with are S. Ecirrhata, and S. Tamnoides. S. Tamnoides has briars on them that really hurt when jagged by them. We also have S. Glauca, S. Herbaceous, S. Rotundifolia, S. Pulverulenta, and S. Pseudochina in my area. I have eaten the leaves and like the taste. Many say the young shoots taste like asparagus. I have never eaten the roots but they are edible.
