There are many myths that have been on the net for quite a while concerning candida, sibo and H Pylori. If you are suffering from them it is a symptom and an indication that other health problems need addressed. It is a case of good gone bad.
Candida and H Pylori are commensal that turn pathogenic when something goes wrong in the body.
First thing we need to mention is that alkalizing actually feeds candida and other unwanted microbes. Also things that cause Candida to go pathogenic can also cause SIBO. So if you have Candida you most likely have SIBO also.
Antibiotics, eating GMOs and the high glyphosate levels found in our food is what is causing so many digestive problems now days. The should only be taken if absolutely necessary. Out of all of them glyphosate is one of the worst. So in order to heal one must do their best to avoid these things.
You have to balance your gut microbiota. To much of one or another can cause problems. Too many of one or another can make you very ill. Many will take the same strains of probiotics daily which will cause them to become out of balance. When this happens a person will become very ill.
If you feel like you are intoxicated you may need molybdenum because candida and other commensals that turn pathogenic can actually make you become intoxicated. Many feel bad after they eat fruit and believe it is because of the sugar. It is not they have too many bacteria producing these toxins. Vitamin B6 and B12 also help with this.
Those who suffer from this may have lactic acidosis instead of alkalosis. I got to experience the pleasure of both because I over compensated from my lack of research and believing the many myths that are out there about candida. I see many who get on hamster wheels and cannot heal because they believe the myths about candida and sibo.
This is very good information about it but they incorrectly call folate folic acid. Folic acid is man made and very toxic to the body. Folate is natural and very difficult to OD on. It does not take much folic acid to have a negative impact on the body.
Our gut bacteria protect each other and secrete and enzyme that protects them from Reactive Oxygen Species. When the above mentioned causes a loss of those bacteria then the other gut bacteria is defenseless and also dies.
Candida and SIBO can increase ammonia levels in the body. Also metabolic issues can cause high ammonia levels which will cause Candida to go from commensal to pathogenic. If this happens H Pylori will go from commensal to pathogenic. You cannot get them to go back to commensal unless you get your ammonia levels down. The PH of the digestive system is supposed to be acidic. High ammonia levels will cause it to become alkaline making it even more difficult to balance our gut microbiome. When our digestive system becomes alkaline it causes our good gut microbes to become reduces and it makes us more prone to bad. Also our sulfur digesting and methane producing become more numerous will start causing problems with our BH4 and CBS pathways. To break the cycle we must support the metabolic pathways effected and reduce our consumption of meat and high sulfur foods for about three months. Once candida turns pathogenic it will actually contribute to the digestive system and even the bladder becoming alkaline which will make it and other bad microbes increase more rapidly.
High ammonia levels damage the brain. It does it in two ways. It damages nerves cells and increases glutamate. Those with high ammonia levels will be sensitive to glutamate and will develop very bad headaches if they consume it.
Saccharomyces Cereviciae also known as brewers yeast help reduce candida and other bad gut microbes. It cannot live in the body long though so has to be taken until the bad microbes are no longer a problem. It is also known as bakers yeast. People falsely believe yeast and candida are realated. Candida is a fungus brewers yeast or bakers yeast is a bacteria. I do not know why they are calling candida a yeast infection because it is a fungus infection.
Bifidobacterium increased the acid levels of our digestive tract which inhibits bad bacteria from growing and help keep our digestive tract acidic. It has been shown to reduce symptoms of irritable bowel disease.
Bicarbonate rich mineral water can help reduce ammonia levels. I did not have access to this so I used a tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate in a cup of water about three times a week sometimes more depending on how my ammonia levels were. It worked great for reducing ammonia levels.
Calcium D gluturate helps reduce ammonia, endotoxins and mold toxins. It should only be taken about three times a week because overstimulating glucuronidation can deplete very important enzymes and then we can no longer detox these substances.
Beta Glucan can be found in mushrooms and organic oatmeal. It helps fight candida and many other pathogens.
Beta glucans modulate the immune system helping to normalize it. Many pathogens will cause an over active immune response which helps to stealth them from the immune system. This helps to enhance the immune response to a pathogen. I have posted on beta glucan if you want to learn more.
Apple cider vinegar is good for fighting candida and many other infections but it is high histamine so those with allergies and mast cell degranulation will have problems with it and other high histamine food that help like yogurt.
Those suffering from this will develop higher ammonia levels when they eat meat. Branched chain amino acids may be a good alternative for a source of protein. You must make sure they do not contain phenylalanine. Phenylalanine increases ammonia levels in the body when we have CBS or BH4 issues. Meat and potatoes are high in phenylalanine.
I was looking at the microbiome from centurions that live around the world. One commonality they had is a very diverse microbiome. Centurions had most of the microbiome we have but they had many others not found in most now days. They could eat things many could not now days because we lack the microbiome to digest them. They had higher levels of bifidobacterium. They had higher levels of Akkermansia, Faecalibacterium Prausnitzii, they also had a variety of microbiota from the clostridium cluster XIVa which is the commensal that protect us from infection and most are butyrate producing. These are strains I believe contributed to their longevity because I found they were common in almost all the centurions but are not found in most others. Centurions also had high levels of acetate producing bacteria like Bifidobacterium Longhum and Bifidobacterium Infantis.
Centurions contain Coprococcus species like C Catus, C. Eutactus, C. Comes which produce short chain fatty acids and acetate. They break down glucose , fructose and other saccharides.
Anaerotruncus Colihomnis – spore forming, indole producing. It breaks down many types of sugars including glucose, manose and fructose.
Blautia Obeum – protects from vibrio cholerea.
Angerostipes Rhamnosivorans – butyrate producing. Can digest a variety of fibers and break down lactose.
Coprococcus Eutactus – butyrate producing, produces many types of short chain fatty acids.
Marvinbryantia Formatexigens – consumes oligosaccharides increases succinate. Can break down chitosan, xanthum, guar gum, and pectin.
Roseburia Inulinivorans – breaks down long chain inulin like chitosan, xanthum, guar gum, and pectin. It also produces butyrate.
Cristensenell Minuta – prevents obesity.
Christensenella Timonensis – prevents obesity.
Centurions have low levels of bacterioidetes and Streptococcus species of microbiota. They had normal levels of bacteroides which is usually elevated in those with inflammatory bowel disease. They also did not have Fusobacterium which is high in those with inflammatory bowel diseases. They did not have the pathogenic clostridium species which is probably because of the high levels and variety of Clostridium XIVa species they have which protects from the pathogenic Clostridium. They also had lowe levels of prevotella.
Two things I also found they had in common but not related to gut microbiome they strongly supported family and were not as prone to getting angry and being hateful and they rarely took pharmaceuticals or needed allopathic medicine. Most chronic illness can be linked to pharmaceuticals and allopathic medical errors.
This is not medical advice, I am posting this for educational and informational purposes.
Boating, stinky flatulence that smell like rotten eggs, abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea, Bile acid refux, headache, fatigue, muscle pain?
If we have to many Hydrogen Sulfate producing bacteria it can negatively impact our health. This occurs if we eat GMOs which are high in glyphosate and glufonisate or from taking antibiotics for too long. H2S inhibits butyrate oxidation in colonic epithelial cells which causes many health problems even psychosis. This also compromises the intestinal barrier function which causes an energy deficit.
Bismuth blocks H2S production ,Lactobacillus Plantarum and Saccharomyces Cerevisiae reduces Desulfovibrio , and other producers of H2S but there are others that produce it. Glycomacropeptide found in whey protein reduces Desulfovibrio bacteria. Lactoferrin and lactulose have been shown to reduce sulfur digesting bacteria. Galacto-oligosaccharide has been found to increase the good microbes that reduce the sulfur digesting and methane producing bacteria. Fiber also helps reduce sulfur digesting bacteria.
High H2S causes increased inflammation, increased Reactive Oxygen Species, and increase neutrophils in order to convert H2S to thiosulfate. If thiosulfate levels get too high in the blood it can cause a type of anemia called Heinz Body anemia. If a person is G6PD deficient this will make their symptoms much worse. Low thiosulfate levels in the urine could indicate low or inhibited Thiolmethyltransferase. High thiosulfate in the blood can also be caused by excess garlic consumption.
There are urine test for thiosulfate. High levels can indicate high H2S producing bacteria in the gut or it can indicate a deficiency in Thiolmethyltransferase. This can lead to CoQ10 deficiency and NADPH deficiency. This can also lead to inhibited sulfide oxidation which can impair fatty acid oxidation. This also causes glutathione to become depleted. You can also test the urine for H2S.
This can effect each differently depending on the level of H2S. They can either become constipated or get diarrhea. It can result in inflammatory bowel, pouchitis, halitosis, fatty acid deficiency from inhibited fatty acid oxidation and malabsorption. Lower H2S stimulates intestinal contraction and higher levels causes relaxation of the intestines.
High sulfur foods and meat increase H2S levels if the sulfur digesting gut microbiota are high. Most fats can also increase H2S and medium chain fatty acids are usually the best to consume when there are high sulfur digesting bacteria levels. Many of our processed foods contain sulfur as a preservative.
In a lactulose test if the levels of methane and hydrogen are not high then it is most likely dysbiosis caused by high sulfur digesting bacteria levels.
H2S cysteine activates GLUT increasing the transport of glucose into the cell. The excess hydrogen sulfide in the body will cause a person to develop sulfur intolerance. High sulfur foods will cause a reaction or they will become ill.
Polyphenols reduce the H2S producing bacteria. Wine and green tea in moderation can reduce the H2S producing bacteria.
The bacteria that can be found in the stool that are sulfur digesting and produce high levels of H2S are Desulfovibrio, Streptococcus, Enterococcus, and Prevotella.
Often times when a person has dysbiosis they will tell them to avoid starch but resistant starch reduces the H2S producing microbiota. Butyrate found in butter helps reduce the effects of high H2S. We can increase our Butyrate by taking a butyrate producing probiotic and making sure they get the starches and sugars they need.
High H2S levels increases Trimethylsulfonium in urine. High trimethylsulfonium levels can effect indolethylamine-N-methyl-transferease enzymes which is needed for the methylation of thiols. When this is effected It can effect hormones throughout the body. Glyphosate uses a sulfonium salt which could increase the negative effects to add gasoline to the fire glyphosate kills the microbiota that help keep sulfur digesting bacteria levels down.
H2S inhibits nNOS which causes nitric oxide production to become inhibited. This also increase NADPH levels and decreases NADH levels. Increasing BH4 counters the effects of H2S. L-arginine can increase Nitric oxide.
This is not medical advice I am posting this for educational and informational purposes.
I have a lot more to add to this but need a break and then I will finish it. I am going to add the things that negatively impact health and how it happens. Some of it I have covered but I have not covered the how part of it I only covered things that may help correct it.
Because probiotics can cause sepsis if you have ulcers or your gut is too porous I consumed a lot of mucilage and took bismuth in order to make sure my gut healed enough that would not happen.
To fully grasp the information here and to grasp the information in the links you will need to understand that Germ Theory and Terrain Theory have been proven wrong and that is why our Facebook group Synergistic Health decided we need a new theory “Enviroment and Biome Theory of Health”
This article discusses how our microbiome effect the whole body even the blood brain barrier.
In this post I am going to try and show how our environment, biome of our environment and our won biome effect our health. This shows that our Facebook group Synergistic Health is correct with our theory “Environment and Biome Theory of Health” is correct and that germ theory and terrain theory are incorrect. Learning this will help people understand why their genes have very little impact on their health compared to the above mentioned things. I also list the things that may be able to correct them.
There is a myth we should alkaize our digestive system must be acidic and alkalinity cause pathogenic and hydrogen sulfide producing bacteria to increase. This causes sulfation issues and increased ammonia getting the body stuck in a cycle. Bile and digestive enzymes become inhibited which cause high estrogen levels and copper will become biounavailable. You must break this cycle by getting ammonia levels down. BH4 levels get low when this happens eating protein increases ammonia levels. Short chain fatty acids balance our T cells so it is important to increase SCFA producing bacteria. I did a blog post on reducing ammonia levels (alkalosis). I did a post on reducing akalosis. I also did a summary of my notes which covers many of these things. If you search for akalosis and summary you should be able to find the information.
Fiber especially inulin increases the good gut bacteria. Exercise also increases our good gut bacteria. Reducing stress or learning to deal with stress increases our good gut bacteria. Ghee is high in butyrate which increases our good gut bacteria.
Egg and milk allergies indicate high Staphylococcus Aureus levels. This is caused by low microbiota that breaks up biofilms and produces natural antibiotics. This can also be caused by low lactobacillus paracasei, lactobacillus adolenscentis and lactobacillus rhamnosis levels.
I do not mention the strains that produce histamines because they are usually not a problem unless something is wrong in the body and they are needed for gut and body health. Avoiding the foods that cause them to produce histamines is more effective. Fermented foods, and aged meats and many cheeses will cause them to produce histamines. Some cheeses like Gouda and Parmesion have species of microbes that reduce histamines. This is why overconsumption of them can cause constipation because histamine stimulates stomache acid production. Those with low stomach acid production may benefit from eating foods that increase histamines.
An imbalance in our gut bacteria can lead to the production of high substance P levels which leads to systematic inflammation. If levels get high enough a person will start to lose their hair, they will get burning in their skin especially at night. The burning mostly occurs in the scalp and down the spine. I posted on how to reduce substance P.
When replacing a microbe you may be lacking it is normal to experience cramps and bloating until they get established. Taking the same probiotic daily can cause gut dysbiosis which is as bad as when candida goes pathogenic and can cause candida and H Pylori to switch from commensal to pathogenic. Probiotics should be alternated and one should take a break from them to let the microbial community balance out.
Most Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus have some oxalate degrading abilities. The microbiota that produce vitamin B12 need chromium to be present to produce it.
Exercise increases our good gut bacteria. Stress and trauma increase our bad bacteria so it is very important to learn to meditate , pray and not to dwell on things you can do nothing about and do your best to get over trauma and do not hold grudges or be resentful or hateful. When we have a lot of negative emotions it increases the gut bacteria that increases adrenaline and it can tax our adrenals.
Diets rich on complex carbohydrates have been shown to prevent infection from food born pathogens. Processed sugar has been found to dramatically increase risk of infection from ford born pathogens.
Often times a persons microbiome is influenced by their sexual partners. Their sexual partner may have different metabolic factors so could appear to be unaffected. Usually a person sexual partner should be treated for dysbiosis or infection also to prevent constant reinfection or constant microbiome disruption.
Galacto-oligosaccharides increase absorption of nutrients, and increase the beneficial bacteria that are important in health mental health and cognition. It prevents constipation and helps protect from food born pathogens. It increases the microbiome that reduces anxiety and pain. It is derived from raw milk and is destroyed during pasteurizing. It also decreases the risk of pulmonary infections. It reduces almost all inflammatory markers in the body. It reduces intestinal inflammation. Galacto-oligosaccharid and fructo-oligosaccharid helps to prevent diabetes.
Our bodies secrete FUT2 to modulate our immune system and to keep our good microbiome health. Many things can make us deficient in FUT2 enzymes which causes a loss of our good gut microbiome and can lead to inflammatory bowel diseases and gut dysbiosis. Fructooligosaccharide and oligosaccharides can replace FUT2 until it is corrected. This is can also result from a deficiency in the microbiota that stimulate IL-22
A loss of our gut microbiome can cause raised zonulin levels which results in many food intolerances, metabolic issues , increase susceptibility to infection and if not corrected can lead to acidosis or alkalosis. Zonulin regulates gut permeability if levels get too low we can develop malabsorption issues. If zonulin levels get to high we can develop many health problems. It can also lead to interstitial cystitis and damage the blood brain barrier which results in the loss of protection of the brain and can lead to infection , encephalopathy and even chira which is a life threatening condition. Increased zonulin levels causes depression, anxiety and can even cause paranoid delusions and psychosis. Mold toxins can increase zonulin levels. BT Toxin found in GMO increase zonulin levels. Farm chemicals which are found to be heavy in our food increases zonulin levels especially glyphosate and glufosinate. It is very important to eat organic when possible. A diet high in fiber and resistant starches increases the microbes that reduce zonulin. Oddly our sterile lifestyles have caused a loss of the microbes that keep zonulin levels balanced. They have found those who are in nature and work with the soil a lot get the good microbes that keep zonulin levels balanced. Unfortunately glyphosate and glufosinate are killing those microbes in the soil which is making it more and more difficult for a person to get those microbes. Endotoxins and mycotoxins increase zonulin levels making us more prone to leaky gut. Leaky gut causes systematic inflammation which can lead to autoimmunity. Butyrate producing gut bacteria reduce zonulin levels helping to prevent leaky gut. Butter and raw milk is high in butyrate. Inflammation causes increased zonulin levels so microbes that reduce inflammation will decrease zonulin. When zonulin levels are how toxins the body would not absorb but would get excreted are easily absorbed which causes high heavy metal and other toxins levels in the body. High zonulin levels also result in food particles entering the blood stream which causes a lot of food sensitivities. This can be corrected by addressing the leaky gut. When zonulin levels are high it increases mast cell degranulation which can lead to mast cell activation syndrome or mastocytosis. This increases histamines leading to autoimmunity and allergies. This also will correct itself once zonulin levels are reduce. Those with high zonulin levels should avoid gluten and gliaden until it is corrected because they raise zonulin levels. High zonulin and high inflammation levels has been linked to just about all types of chronic illness. Inflammation can cause high zonulin levels, high zonulin levels can lead to inflammation creating a cycle that is difficult to break. Inflammation disables the immune system and is why so many illnesses like tick born illness, candida and many other infections are becoming epidemic. Almost all illness can be link to zonulin.
Our gut microbiome regulate our zonulin levels which regulates the tight junction layer. When zonulin is high then we develop leaky gut which causes chronic illness and even effects our brains. Our gut bacteria even regulate our HPA axis. Microbes that increase IL-10, T regulatory cells and reduce inflammation will reduce zonulin levels which will restore the tight junction protein layer. Also stress increases zonulin so microbes that reduce stress will also decrease zonulin levels.
Our sterile lives have added to the increase in zonulin levels. Also nutrient deficiencies cause by over farming land and chemicals like glyphosate and glufosinate that chelate nutrients are causing nutrient deficiencies which increases zonulin. This indicates the the biome of our environment is also important for our health. It also indicates that our environment itself can influence our health.
Nutrient deficiencies also stimulate zonulin and so do bad fats and excessive meat consumption. Excess vitamin B12 increases zonulin levels. I do not supplement with it, I nurture my gut microbiota that produce it and I make sure I get cobalt which they need to produce B12. On the other end of the scale zonulin deficiency can result in the inability to absorb nutrients. This shows the importance of learning to achieve homeostasis. I cannot find studies showing that inhibited zonulin causes malabsorption but I have noticed those who have high levels of the bacteria that inhibit zonulin and low levels of the ones that stimulate zonulin have malabsorption issues.
High zonulin levels can lead to decreased intestinal motility which causes the food to sit in the digestive tract and ferment instead of digesting. This increases the ammonia, hydrogen, sulfide and methane producing microbes which raises zonulin levels even higher. If I ever get a chance to write a book I will cover it in more detail. Once this cycle starts it is very hard to break and a person will not be able to absorb nutrients because their food is not getting broken down properly.
So all this being said the bigger the variety of gut microbes we have the more balanced our zonulin becomes.
Butyrate producing microbiota increase TGF-B which is needed to prevent some commensals from becoming harmful. A deficiency in TGF-B can lead to inflammatory bowel disease which can cause bile to be inhibited. The most important of these are F Prausnitzii, Clostridium Leptum, Eubacterium Rectale and Roseburia. If deficient in IL-10 or TGF-B the microbiota that stimulates bile will become pathogenic in nature IL-10 and TGF-B work together to keep them in check so they continue to function properly. I discuss bile in more detail at the end of this article.
Raw potatoes, inulin, chickpeas and other legumes feed the gut bacteria that prevent gliaden and gluten intolerance. Too much of these can increase the glucose levels in the blood. That may be good for those with malabsorption but high glucose levels can lead to cancer and other health problems.
Increased CB1 receptor activation causes leaky gut which can lead to food intolerances from our gut becoming too porous. This can lead to increased LPS levels which can lead to endotoxemia and sepsis. Increased zonulin also does this. Stress increases zonulin.
The PH of the gut and bladder should be between 4 to 5. The lower the number the more acidic the high the number the more alkaline. We do not want alkaline it causes infection and gut dysbiosis. Candida and H Pylori will go from commensal to pathogenic.
Bloating can be from taking too much of a certain probiotic which can lead to dysbiosis , inflammation, ulcerations, or high histamines. High histamines will cause acid reflux. Low histamine inhibits bile and will cause bile reflux constipation and low stomach acid production. If you have low histamines fermented foods will increase the histamine producing bacteria but be cautious do not increase them too far. We can also become bloated if candid or H Pylori go from commensal to pathogenic.
Increased gut permeability (leaky gut) can lead to bone loss, autoimmunity, and many metabolic issues.
Our gut bacteria need carbohydrates but many avoid them. There are good carbs and bad carbs.
A microbiotia accessable carbohydrate diet increases beneficial bacteria that produce short chain fatty acid. This consist of fiber and carbohydrates. This increases the bacteria that produce short chain fatty acids. If we do not produce enough SCFA we will become constipated and bile production will become inhibited. This will also happen if we develop malabsorption from having high bacteroidetes, methane producing and sulfur digesting bacteria. They contribute to malabsorption, constipation and inhibited bile production from a lack of SCFA in the body. Our blood glucose levels will also become very low and we may develop high insulin levels. Clostridium infection is also a major cause of this and indicates we are lacking the microbiota that protect us from it. This can cause a cycle that is hard to break because bile is needed to prevent clostridium infection.
High histamines usually indicates low bifidobacterium levels. Bifidobacterium degrade histamines. Low Bifidobacterium can cause weight gain in some people and can lead to anxiety, difficulty sleeping and difficulty concentrating. Our histamine degrading bacteria need vitamins A,C, E and Zinc. Bifidobacterium which there are many species produce folate. Most Bifidobacterium increases IgA which prevents food intolerances and allergies. Bifidobacterium also break down gliaden. Excess gliaden can raise zonulin levels leading to the tight junction layer becoming more permeable resulting in leaky gut.
Lactobacillus needs vitamin A and consuming it has been shown to restore lactobacillus. Most lactobacillus prevent candida and fungus infections. Most Lactobacillus prevent lung infection. Most Lactobacillus increase IL-10. IL-10 is needed for commensalism. Those deficient in Lactobacillus will be extremely underweight.
Most probiotics should be taken with an oligosaccharide. They help feed them and get them established. Pectin also protects the good bacteria helping it to thrive. Olive oil has been found to prevent them from making TMAO. If TMAO levels get too high we can develop a fish like smell, diabetes and/or cardiovascular disease.
Lactobacillus Reuteri increases oxytocin which helps keep us calm and helps prevent depression. It also helps prevent diarrhea. It increases intestinal absorption of nutrients. It prevents cavities and promotes dental health. It protects against pathogens and parasites. It has been shown to help with autism. L Reuteri produces food need by most of the other commensal bacteria. It requires sugar to produce the food the commensal microbes need. L reuteri also help prevent asthma. Helps restore normal vaginal and bladder microbiome. If you are sensitive to sugars and starches it could be an indication you are deficient in L Reuteri. L Reuteri breaks down sugars and starches. A deficiency in Lactobacillus Reuteri can also contribute to milk allergy and a lower resistance to pain. It prevents gingivitis and periodontal disease. It helps keep H Pylori commensal. L Reuteri improves the production of bile.
Clostrium Leptum has been found to be low in those with inflammatory bowel disease and Chohn’s disease. It breaks down carbohydrates and produces butyrate. It reduces inflammation.
I believe L Reuteri and L Fermentum are the same species. Often times research papers state that they are the same species.
Lactobacillus Fermentum found in raw goats milk protects from urinary tract infection and food born pathogens. It has been shown to increase other lactobacillus bacteria. This would help those who have difficulty gaining weight. It is resistant to most antibiotics and has been found to transfer that ability to the other but microbes. This also would help with lactos intolerance. L Fermentum prevents skin rashes and eczema By increasing TH1. It prevents IgA related allergic disease. L fermentum helps prevent urinary infection. Low I IgA levels are common in inflammatory bowel disease and those who have malabsorption disorders. Reduces endotoxins. Helps protect from cavities and gingivitis.
Bacteroides Vulgatus increases bile production, if levels are low a person is susceptible to inflammatory bowel disease. If levels get too high a person will develop celiac disease. This occurs if a person is lacking the microbiotia that stimulate IL-10, SMAD3 and TGFB.

It prevents H Pylori and Candida from becoming pathogenic. Reduces endotoxins and heals the liver and kidneys. It prevents skin rashes and lesions. It increases our ability to tolerate heat. Helps break down phytic acid preventing it from being and antinutrient. B Subtilis has been shown to reduce blood pressure and prevent atherosclerosis. B Subtilis communicates with the body to let is know what is going on. It kind of acts like a soldier and a nurse. It stimulates IFN-y in spleens of mammals which is an important part of the bodies ability to fight infections. Seems more important for fighting infection then dendric cells and natural killer cells. IFN-y prevent viruses from being able to adhere to cells. Increasing IFN-y increases CD8 molecules. Those who are TH1 dominant should avoid this strain it increases TH1.
Lactobacillus sanfranciscensis helps degrade phytate preventing them from being and antinutrient. Decreases gut permeability and prevents obesity. Reduces symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease. It is found in raw sour bread dough.
Lactobacillus pentosusfound in fermented olive products. It helps prevent food born pathogens. It helps break down carbohydrates. Helps reduce symptoms of lactose intolerance. It can break down a wide variety of sugars and carbohydrates.

It also produces oligosaccharides which feed our good gut microbes. It helps produce SCFA which are needed by the body and our microbiome. It helps maintain the shape and health of the mucous membrane in the gut. Low levels of Akkermansia Muciniphila results in a thinner mucous membrane making us more prone to infection and inflammatory bowel diseases. A deficiency in Akkermansia can result in appendicitis. Arabinoxylin, Inulin , fructoligosaccharide, oligofructose increases Akkermansia. Polyphenols in pomegranate, grapes, grape seed extract , and navy beans increase Akkermansia. Cod liver oil also increases Akkermansia. When there is a wound in the gut Akkermansia will go to the site of the wound and signal the body it needs to repair that area. This is one of the most important microbes for gut health. If we are deficient in it bacteroidetes leves get to high, bile production becomes inhibited and our bodies do not secrete pancreatic enzymes. I discuss the consequences of high bacteroidetes levels at the end of this post. Increased CB1 receptor activation reduces Akkermansia, inhibiting CB1 receptor increases Akkermansia but inhibiting CB1 increases depression and anxiety. Akkermansia needs Faecalibacterium Prausnitzii and vice versa. There is research showing if Akkermansia levels get too high it can increase zonulin levels so though it is a key mcirobiota in the regulation of our health homeostasis should always be the goal.
Clostridium Butyricum help prevent many food born pathogens, helps produce short chain fatty acids, it prevents diabetes and helps keep the sulfur digesting and ammonia producing bacteria like Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes from getting too high. Those with cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes are usually low in F Prausnitzii. Akkermanis Municiphila needs it and vice versa. Prevents inflammation.
It also helps balance the immune system. It needs Akkermansia to thrive. Oligosaccharides increase F. Prausnitzii. It prevents celiac disease. It induces IL-10. It is necessary for fatty acid oxidation. It produces butyrate. It produces Salicyclic acid which is what they make aspirin from. It produces raffinose a type of oligosaccharide that decreases gut permeability which prevents leaky gut. It along with other commensals form biofilms that help protect and heal the gut. Decreases zonulin which preserves the integrity of the tight protein layer. If zonulin levels get too high a person will develop lactose, gluten and gliadin intolerance.
Enterococcus faecium prevents listeria infection and prevents infection from it’s pathogenic cousins. There is a human species which is non pathogenic and an animal species and the animal species is pathogenic to humans. I view this one as a dangerous pathogen even though it is used in probiotics when the body is weak it can make a person very very ill.

Odoribacter Splanchnicus a loss of Odoribacter causes a loss of SCFA availibility which leads to inflammation and low glucose levels. Deficiency in O Splanchnicus can lead to hypertension and diabetes. Low levels of O Splanchnicus can also lead to interstitial cystitis. It is important for absorption of nutrients and in maintaining a healthy gut. Has been shown to prevent atherosclerosis. Requires glucose, galactose, salicin, trehalose, arabinose, fructose or mannose. Inhibits many of the sulfur digesting bacteria that can cause high sulfite levels and high hydrogen sulfide levels. Lactinifactor Longoviformis breaks down phytoestrogens found in many plants.
Arthrobacter Agilis it produces carotenoids which the body can convert to vitamin A. It reduces the risk of Parkinson’s disease. They degrade many pesticides. It prevents fungus infection but I am not comfortable with Arthobacter species because some of them produce antifreeze and I cannot find any research to show with this one did or not. I do not feel this is a safe probiotic and I have not spoken to anyone who had used it.
Eubacterium Halli it produces butyurate from acetate, glucose and lactate. It produces vitamin B12. It is important for homeostasis in the body and produces SCFA. It improves insulin sensitivity and normalizes blood glucose levels. It cannot process complex carbohydrate and needs bifidobacterium to exist. It makes some carcinogens harmless.
Arthrobacter Globiformis uses sugar as it’s main source of food. It uses sugar and ammonia. It’s byproducts are nitrogen and hydralimine. I do not know the health effects of these but it can break down many toxins in the enviroment but I do not feel comfortable using these as a probiotic I have not seen enough research on the use of this. Their are many of the Arthrobacter species that are used for probiotics and almost all of them break down some form of toxin but I cannot find research on their safety or effectiveness.
Pediococcus acidilactici it has been shown to reduce gastrointestinal distress. It prevents infections by food born pathogens and has been shown to stop bloody diarrhea. It also prevents constipation. Has been show to stop excessive vomiting. It has been shown to fight pathogenic parasites. It increases IL-10 and T regulatory cells which would balance the immune system. It has also been shown to fight fungal infections.
Most Bacillus species convert genotoxic substances to non toxic substances. Bacillus species are found in the soil and in humans. Some can be pathogenic. Man soil based bacteria improve nutrient absorption. There are other strains of Bacillus species but I did not list them because they have the ability to produce endotoxins. Bacillus species help break down food better which improves nutrient absorption. They should be taken with food or they do not get established well. Many of the Bacillus species secrete amylase and lipase. Amylase helps break down carbohydrates and lipase breaks down fats. Bacillus species may help those with malabsorption issues. Bacillus species detox a lot of toxins including mycotoxins found in fungus and molds. Mycotoxins can cause birth defects, sterility, it can increase estrogen levels. Most bacillus species can detox mycotoxins zearalenone, and aflatoxin but other mycotoxins that get broke down are species specific. Most Bacillus species train the immune system on how to fight pathogens. Most bacillus species reduce the risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Most bacillus species help prevent leaky gut and promote healing of the gut.
Bacillus Lacterosporous is found in soil and humans. It fights fungus. Helps prevent leaky gut. It also fights mycoplasma infection. I have not seen studies on the effectiveness or safety of this microbe.
Bacillus Firmis promotes the differentiation of B lymphocytes to Ig producing and secreting cells. It stimulates the repair of blood vessels.
Bacillus Clausii stimulates the production of IgA but requires GALT. Prevents lung infections has been used successfully to treat those who get recurrent respiratory infections. Has also been used successfully to treat acute diarrhea. Studies show it is safe for human consumption. It protects the body from endotoxins.
Bacillus Licheniformis prevents biofilm formation of pathogens. Prevents the build up of amyloid plaque which contributes to amyloidosis and Alzheimer’s. Amyloid can also destroy beta cells leading to diabetes.
Bacteroides Fragilis promotes the production of GALT.
Phages P. Aerugonosa protect against E Faicalis and many food born pathogens.
Bacteroidetes- there are many species. Meat consumption increases their numbers. If bacteroidetes get too high it can result in weight gain or weight loss from malabsorption. It can cause the inability to absorb fats preventing bile production. It can cause the pancreatic enzymes to become inhibitited and cause phenylketonuria which results in high ammonia levels. It can cause BH4 enzyme deficiency, which can lead to CBS upregulation which can lead to high sulfite levels. This can cause the citric acid cycle to shut down leading to high estrogen levels, high unbound copper levels which farther inhibit the bodies ability to produce bile. This farther increases estrogen levels and levels of unbound copper. This lead to inflammatory bowel disease and malabsorption issues. A person with high Bacteroidetes levels will be high in butyrate and proprianic acid, acetate levels may be high also. They will be low in malanic acid. This also leads to high ammonia levels which causes many other health issues and causes Candida and H pylori to go from commensal to pathogenic. Many with this problem will develop bile acid gird. This also makes someone prone to clostridium infection along with many other pathogens.
If this persist long enough a person can develop interstitial cystitis. This is a common problem in those born by C section and who are formula feed. This also leads to a lot of food intolerances especially milk and glutin along with gliaden. This also can result in thiamine deficiency.
Consuming high amounts of meat can result in high bacteroidetes, methane producing bacteria and increased sulfur digesting bacteria. This can result in high levels of sulfite which will interfere with sulfation and cause many health issues. It can also cause high levels of hydrogen sulfide which will lower blood pressure at first then if levels get high enough it will increase blood pressure and cause severe inflammation. Bile production and production of pancreatic enzyme will become inhibited. High sulfite levels makes a person more susceptable to Salmonella infection. This also inhibits bile production. Butyrate ;producing bacteria help restore bile production.
Another thing that inhibits bile production is extended use of antibiotics. It reduces our good gut microbiome. Muscrarlis Macrophages detect our good gut microbiomes LPS. With the decrease in our good gut microbiome and loss of their LPS to signal muscarlis macrophages dysbiosis occurs which leads to inhibited intestinal motility which causes a loss of bile production and pancreatic enzyme production. Supplementing with commensal LPS has been shown to reduce the symptoms and increase bile flow.
A loss of bile production prevents nutrient absorption, the pancreas will not receive the feedback from our intestines and will quit producing enzymes. This result in malabsorption especially of oil soluble nutrients because bile is need to break down fats. This will also cause LDL levels to get low and HDL levels to because high. This imbalance causes HDL to become inflammatory.
A loss of serrotonin producing gut bacteria negatively impact gut health. Tryptophan helps restore gut health. Strange thing is the first three or four days I took tryptophan I had a herx type reaction. It must have been from die off of the bad gut microbes as the good increased. This can lead to damage to the central nervous system.
If our ammonia levels get high then H Pylori will turn pathogenic to protect itself. When in commensal form it prevents allergies. When H pylori is in pathogenic form it inhibit ghrelin which inhibits digestion and can cause food to sit in the gut and ferment leading to bloating, dybiosis and can inhibit digestive enzymes.
I am not going to cover histamines in this post I will address it in a post on over and under methylators because high and low histamines can cause over or under methylation. Leaky gut, inflammation and status of our immune system can effect methylation.
Now connect this with my other post and you will see that there is no doubt that germ theory and terrain theory are not correct and that our Facebook groups theory “Enveroment and Biome Theory of Health is correct.
Here is a list of my articles on health that will support my case.
Compare the above mentioned things and the things that occur within the body and you can make the connection to the gut. This list the many things that can go wrong and how to use nutrients to help heal.
We are taught that things like genetics are inherited but it is our eating habits and microbiome that gets inherited and they are things that can be changed. Even asthma we are taught is inherited but I have seen many in my life correct it and live a normal life and never suffer from it again.
Many have problems with lipid metabolism now days. They claim it is inherited genetics but when I ask people if anyone else in there family suffered from it they say no. So how can it can they inherit something no one else ever experienced in their families?
Now you can see why tick born illness is rampant. Thing that usually would not usually effect man is now causing illness. Infection indicates there is a nutrient deficiency or enviromental toxin or enviromental biome issue. Something is out of balance. Man is viewing symptoms like cancer, diabetes, and mental illness as the cause and they are symptoms of underlying problem.
Since modern day illness is causing chronic illness by destroying our gut we need to work on restoring it to heal. Leaky gut causes endotoxemia. I listed in the microbe list above which ones reduce endotoxins. It also causes high oxalates so you will have to work on reducing them.
I noticed that those with dysbiosis had issues when the consumed or took tryptophan. This study suggest that SERT might be upregulated in dysbiosis which wold explain why tryptophan made them worse. Sert is the serotonin transporter.
There are those who say but things like H Pylori cause illness. So how could that prove what your are saying. H Pylori just like many of our beneficial bacteria only cause problems when something has changed to cause it to occur. They say yeah but there is strains that are pathogenic and strains that are not. Well the biggest part of the population is believe to have the supposed pathogenic strain of H Pylori. So you have to ask why doesn’t everyone get gastric ulcers?
Our food and water is so toxic now it has a negative impact on our guts. The crazy thing is some of these toxins are found in vaccines so imagine what they are doing when they are being directly shot into peoples blood streams.
Desulfibrio species digest sulfur which produces H2S. If H2S levels get too high it can cause many health issues. B Thetamiomicron free sulfur which feeds Desulfibrio species. They cannot free it themselves. Mercury and lead increase Desulfibrio species. Excess H2S can lead to constipation. This is why high levels of Akkermansia and Desulfibrio results in inflammatory bowel diseases, gall stones and many other diesease. Not getting enough fermentable carbohydrates increases sulfur digesting microbes.
Glycomacropeptide found in whey protein and fermentable fiber reduces sulfur digesting bacteria. Fermentable fibers are pectin, Beta-glucan found in mushrooms and oatmeal, guar gum, inulin and oligosaccharides. If a person is not used to getting them they will have to ease into them. Until the body is used to getting them they will cause bloating and gas. As the body gets used to them the symptoms will slowly decrease. Psyllium should be avoided it has been found to make the symptoms worse.
Those with inflammatory bowel and gut dysbiosis usually have high levels of H2S being produced by their gut microbes. Fructooligosaccharide and Resistant starch decreases H2S but psyllium increases it so psyllium should be avoided.
Now we do not want to completely rid ourselves of the H2S producing microbes because they are needed to keep us health. We want to try and restore homeostasis. For those with high sulfur digesting bacteria a glass of non sulfur wine may help.
High H2S levels can effect sulfation by inhibiting sulfur detoxification. It can even effect the antioxidant system. High H2S levels also inhibits nNOS. It can be countered by increasing NADPH and BH4.
Methane producing bacteria can also cause constipation leading to inflammatory bowel diseases. Those with high methane levels usually suffer from nausea, will feel full and bloated, may experiencing vomiting. They will have milk intolerance because the sugars in milk feed methane producing bacteria. They will experience bouts of severe depression. Constipation causes bile to become inhibited resulting in similar health problems as those who have high sulfur digesting bacteria.
Those with methane producing dysbiosis need to avoid fermentable carbohydrates and lactulose found in milk products. I know those feed the good gut bacteria but they also feed the gut bacteria that produce hydrogen which feeds the methane producing bacteria.
This is another commonality that I have found with those who have inflammatory bowel from too many sulfur digesting and too many methane producing is they both had low bacteroides fragilis levels. I am cautious recommending this because if level get too high it can cause health problems.
Bacteroides vulgatis and Bacteroides Dorei are usually low in both types of inflammatory bowel and can lead to cardiovascular disease. Seems there is an easy fix for this. Eating walnuts. This should help Both types of inflammatory bowel issues.
The gut microbes are dramatically different in those with NAFLD.
When you look at studies on cirrhosis of the liver. The things that help NAFLD seem to be things that improve oxidation which leads me to believe they are low oxidizers. But alcohol liver disease seems more inflammatory. But they both have links to the gut. Very interesting report.
Chemicals in our environment and those pushed by the pharmaceutical industry change our external environment which is killing the commencile pathogens that keep the pathogenic ones in check. This is a common theme now days. When someone gets and infection they either have high toxin levels, were taking allopathic medications or had a nutrient deficiency. All those effect our commensals that protect us from their pathogenic cousins.
Those with Trimethylaminuria may be deficient in sulfur digesting bacteria. This would reduce TMAO in the plasma. Could Trimethylaminuria be from a deficiency in methane producing and enterobacteriaceae?
IL-22 is needed to protect us from pathogens and to stimulate FUT2. If we are deficient in certain gut microbiota that stimulate FUT2. We will have immune issues and gut dysbiosis because FUT2 keeps our good gut microbes health.
If the immune system is out of balance IL-22 can be upregulated causing illness. This is why the microbiome that increase T regulatory cell and decrease inflammation are important and reducing endotoxins is also important.
Lactobacillus Rhamnosus GG increases 5-HT uptake .This would help those who have diarrhea but will decrease motility adding to the problem for those who have constipation type inflammatory bowel. 5-HT plasma levels in those who have diarrhea is low and in those who have consipation it is high. E Coli Nissle 1917 increases 5-HT bioavailibility. F Prausnitzi A2-165 down regualates 5-HT which may help those with constipation type inflammatory bowel. Some of the studies were done poorly but there is useful information in them. They also list some microbiota that can improve motility.
There are three forms of IBS. IBS-D involves diarrhea, IBD-C involves constipation and IBD-M is a mix of both. Serotonin regulates gut motility and enzyme secretion. Damage to the digestive system and leaky Gut effects GLP-1’s ability to sense nutrients. 5-HT is involved in the regulation of gut motility and enzymes. It depends on GLP-1 and serotonin. Gut our gut bacteria regulate serotonin and GLP-1. The type of microbes involved in the dysbiosis determines which type of IBS a person will suffer from.
Healing the brain and addressing high zonulin levels and restoring the gut bacteria and addressing neurological issues are necessary to restore proper gut brain communication. Inflammation must also be addressed.
This is not medical advice I am posting this for educational and informational purposes.
They blame genetics for obesity. Many things caused by modern medicine and toxins they blame on genetics. Also it is our life styles and eating habits that we inherit from our families that influence our health. If you read some of my post you would see that most things are not genetic as they falsely claim.
They constantly blame genetics but if you do your research you would see that our gut microbiome modulate our genes and if you are lacking a certain microbiota the genes it modulates will be effected. I have posted on it is not your genes but it is your gut and gut microbiome. A change in our microbiome from farm chemicals in our food, BT Toxins from GMOs, antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals and heavy metals can change our gut bacteria. This can result in obesity.
We need to ask ourselves why has obesity , chronic illness and heart disease increased so dramatically? If modern medicine, TV and the government is right then our health should be improving not declining. Studies have shown that we eat far less fat and cholesterol in the U.S. then we did in the past and we eat more fruits and vegetables. So why are these conditions increasing?
Ghrelin can also effect our weight and those who are obese seem to have lower levels of ghrelin but are more sensitive to it. They believe this is because many obese people have been shown to have high cortisol levels. This makes us more sensitive to ghrelin. Rooibos, suma and maca are adaptogenic herbs. Ghrelin, insulin and leptin communicate with each other so issues with those will effect our ghrelin levels.
Vaccines and antibiotics contribute to obesity. Just like anything else obesity is actually an illness. Most who are obese are not obese because they are lazy. I know many obese people who were very hard workers.
Most allergies are caused by farm chemicals in our foods, processed foods, BT Toxin in GMOs cause the body to react the same would your body would if it had food poisoning. This can lead to allergies. Antibiotics kill our good gut bacteria which can lead to allergies. This can result in obesity.
Stress, chemicals especially chemicals like glyphosate and glufosinate found in our food can raise zonulin levels. Many medications can raise zonulin levels setting things into motion that can lead to many health problems and obesity.
Our gut bacteria need iron tho thrive but the iron they fortify food with is the wrong type. Iron found in curly dock and burdock root will supply you with iron without causing toxicity unless you have certain liver diseases. If you have iron toxicity lactoferrin will restore iron homeostasis. Curcumine will reduce iron levels in the blood also but do not take it too long or you can become anemic.
Many of the food manufacturers know processed sugar , processed fructose is even worse and causes inflammation which leads to obesity but they blame the people and hide the fact they new that it has ill effects on our health. I have not included the research in this blog post but processed honey acts pretty much like processed sugar but raw honey does not. Sugars in fruits help fight illness and have health benefits showing that we need the cofactors along with the sugars.
BH4 is involved in energy metabolism. It is effected by high sulfite levels, inflammation , oxidative stress and nutrient deficiencies. This can lead to obesity. A person with BH4 or CBS issues will be sensitive to sulfur containing foods and drugs.
There are many herbals that will reduce obesity by reducing the things that cause obesity like inflammation, histamines and autoimmune issues or addressing the nutrient deficiencies that can lead to those things.
This is not medical advice I am posting this for informational and educational purposes.
Most with inflammatory bowel disease have too many bacteriodes which is caused by excess meat consumption, antibiotics, glyphosate, glufosinate and other farm chemicals. This results in nutrient deficiencies which lead to metabolic and gene problems. Before you can get your gut bacteria reestablished you have to address those health issues because our gut microbes communicate with and modulate our genes. These are the bacteria that was found to help restore intestinal health in those with inflammatory bowel disease or leaky gut. They also help those with autoimmune issues and chronic illness.
Studies have shown that by alternating probiotics and taking lower doses of them and taking a break from them to leave them balance out is more effective at establishing a balance of our gut bacteria.
Each of our triggers are different so it is important to keep a food diary on how various food effects you.
Our diets influence out gut bacteria for example meat alkalizes the gut producing an environment that will permit the rise of certain bacteria that can lead to health problems. If we consume too much meat it can lead to inflammatory bowel diseases because it raises bacteroides levels and kills the bacteria that produce the good fats we need and the short chain fatty acids the body needs. High bacteroides levels can also lead to heart disease, diabetes, and even autoimmunity. Also a diet high in meat can increase the bacteria in our guts that cause inflammation.
Transfats and oils like vegetable oil and canola oil were found to raise bacteroides levels and decrease our good short chain fatty acid producing bacteria. Oils like olive oil, coconut oil and fish oil have been found to promote good gut bacteria.
Whey protein and the glycoproteins found in mushrooms have been found to reduce bacteroides and increase the good gut bacteria.
Lactose has been found to increase the good bacteria that helps produce butyrate and short chain fatty acids. This is why it is important to address lactose intolerance, it can be corrected.
Sugar increases Bifidobacterium, this could be bad for those who are over weight but good for those who are under weight and need to gain weight.
Prebiotics like resistant starch, oligosaccharides, fructosaccharides increase our short chain fatty acid producing bacteria. Short chain fatty acids are very important keeping us healthy. They have also been found to increase the microbes that protect and strengthen the health of our digestive system.
Polyphenols found in fruit especially berries, promote good bacteria while reducing the bad.
Artificial sweeteners especially aspartame has been shown to increase bacteroides to the point it could lead to irritable bowel syndrome.
In order to establish our good bacteria we need FOMAPs I found introducing them very slowly worked best for me as my gut bacteria received the food they needed and increased I could increase my FODMAP intake. If we stay on a FODMAP diet too long it will make it difficult to reestablish our good bacteria. Adjust the diet to your body do not stick strictly to diet but base it on how your body responds. I used a paleo diet after the FODMAP but did not stick to either diet strictly but based them on how my body responded.
Akkermana Muciniphila It is found in the upper part of the intestines and helps regulate bile acid production. Bile acids help regulate our pancreatic enzymes so indirectly it also regulates our digestive enzymes. It is believe to restore the mucous membrane in the digestive system. Polyphenols from berries helps to feed it and increase it’s numbers. Oligosaccharides also increase A Muciniphila. It has been found to be low in those with obesity. A deficiency in A Muciniphila will cause a deficiency in short chain fatty acids and inhibited lipogenesis. A person deficient in A Muciniphila will develop insulin resistance and low glucose levels.
Roseburia species help produce butyric acid, short chain fatty acid and protects us from diabetes and obesity. They help prevent inflammatory bowel disease. Beta Glucan in mushrooms and oats , chitan and inulin help raise Roseburia levels. Butyric acid protects the gut and our brains. It also protects our nerves and is important in the absorption of nutrient. If we are deficient in butyrate we will not absorb nutrients. Butter and ghee are good sources of butyrate until the gut bacteria are restored.
Faecalibacterium Prautsnitzii increases IL-10, this is important because Lyme and other illnesses that carry the OspA protein inhibit IL-10 to stealth themselves from the bodies immune defense. There isn’t much known about it except that it is low in many types of digestive disorders. We get it from being around others who have it.
Clostridium Butyricum is a butyrate producing bacteria . Clostridum butyricum kills it’s cousin that cause negative health effects. It also increases IL-10 . It also decreases inflammatory cytokines. There are studies that have shown if the other healthy gut bacteria are not present this one like many of the bacteria species used in probiotics could start causing health problems.
E Coli Nissle 1977 doesn’t only protect us from it’s cousins that cause ill health effects it also protects against other types of infections. It has been shown to put inflammatory bowel disorders into remission. It has too many benefits to mention. The only way I know of getting this one is through a probiotic called Multaflor.
Lactobacillus Casei and L. Longum have been find to be deficient in many types of digestive disorders. They do not establish well of one or the other is missing it is best if they are taken together if you use a probiotic. The improve the bodies antioxidant capacity. We need SOD to produce H2O2 which the body uses to detox cells and transport nutrients and enzyme into and out of the cells. When deficient in these cellular macrophagy is inhibited. This help protect against cancer and other illnesses.
If we are deficient in them we can develop liver disease, lysosomal storage disorders and glycogen storage issues, insulin resistance and lose the ability to absorb nutrients. Our blood sugar levels will become low because insulin levels will increase. Bifidobacterium Bifidum has many of the same benefits and probably would benefit from taking it along with these. Also we cannot absorb proteins without the Lactobacillus strains.
A species of bacteria called lactobacillus casei shiroto is important in regulating our tryptophan levels. A deficiency in this strain will cause reduce tryptophan levels resulting in anxiety and the inability to sleep. A deficiency in this one can result in phenylketonuria which causes high ammonia levels in the body. A person who has this issues will get ill when they eat meat , potatoes or other things high in phenylalanine. Low levels of tryptophan can cause a loss of the beneficial bacteria in the Roseburia family which can lead to leaky gut and inflammatory bowel disease and sever constipation.
Many have been found to be deficient in Streptococcus Salivarius protects us from lung, oral and nasal infections. It also protects us from inflammation. Those who are deficient in S Salivarius will be prone to infection especially from it’s cousins in the streptococcus family that cause negative health effects. The only way I know to safely increase this is with lozenges that contain it because too much can cause health problems so you would want to avoid taking capsules of this.
Lactobacillus Rhamnosus helps prevent diarrhea , has been shown to reduce symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease. It helps protect us from infection. Helps protect us from allergies, obesity and diabetes. It also helps protect us from staph infection.
H Pylori is commensal but without Lactobacillus Rhamnosus to keep it in check it can cause gastric ulcers.
We also need fungus for example Saccharomyces Cerevisiae know as brewers yeast helps prevent diabetes. They used to think S Boulardii was a separate species but it has been found to be the same. I couldn’t afford the supplement so I bout a package of brewers yeast and consumed it. Wasn’t sure it would make it through my stomach acid but I felt improvement so I believe it does. Now this is one you do not want to increase too much, also you do not want to take this if you have autoimmune issues or leaky gut. It can act as a pathogen if it gets into the blood stream, many of our microbiome can if they get too high in numbers or get into our blood stream.
Lactobacillus Rueteri produces folate those who have folate deficiency have been found to be low in folate and have high inflammation levels. L Rueteri also regulates our oxytocin which can give us a feeling of self worth and well being. A deficiency in L Rueteri can lead to extreme depression.
Our gut bacteria produce B vitamins for each other and maintain each other. If the ones who produce the B vitamins are missing then the microbiome will get them from our foods which will prevent us from receiving them. This is why it is important to eat foods high in B vitamins and to protect our gut bacteria from antibiotic, farm chemicals and toxins in our foods like artificial sweeteners.
Lactobacillus Acidophilus prevents diarrhea, helps protect against clostridium infections. Those with interstitial cystitis are usually deficient in this one. It helps reduce symptoms of inflammatory bowel disorder. Acidophilus regulates our ph of our digestive system and bladder and keeps it at the correct ph. Our bladders and digestive system need to be acidic. An akaline environment can cause a loss of our good gut bacteria and promote the growth of the bad. It can also cause candida to go from commensal to a pathogenic form. Many with interstitial cystitis have found relief using L Acidophilus suppositories. Those who are having difficulty gaining weight usually have excess L acidophilus levels because it speeds up metabolism and those who have problems with weight gain are often deficient in acidophilus. Fermented foods are high in this but those with high histamine must reduce their histamine before eating fermented food I addressed that in my autoimmune post.
Bifidobacterium increased the acid levels of our digestive tract which inhibits bad bacteria from growing and help keep our digestive tract acidic. It has been shown to reduce symptoms of irritable bowel disease.
Phylloquinone (vitamin K) is also used by our gut bacteria and converted to vitamin K2. Animal products and leafy green vegetables are good sources of vitamin K . Many should be cooked especially spinach and kale because they are very high in oxalates.
Some food sources of quinones are. Natto, Green Tea, Parsley, Paypaya and green peppers. Some may benefit from supplementing PQQ because many of the foods that contain it are very high oxalate like kiwi.
Soil based probiotics have been shown to improve digestive health.
Bacillus Subtilis produces and antibiotic that protects us but is none toxic to the good bacteria. B Subtilis has antioxidant properties. B Subtilis has been shown to restore normal gut flora. B Subtilis has been shown to relieve constipation and diarrhea. It has reduce symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease. It boost immunity and fights H Pylori. It improves the health of the liver. It promotes the production of digestive enzymes which improves gut health.
Bacillus Coagulans improves insulan sensitivity. High insulin levels are common in inflammatory bowel disease, this would help reduce insulin levels. It helps reduce diabetes symptoms. B Coagulans improves muscle recovery and prevent arthritis. It helps increase the beneficial microbes in the gut. It relieves intestinal pain inflammation and constipation. B coagulans reduces the risk of urinary tract infections.
Terrain theory is wrong and so is germ theory. I will add more links showing this is true as I find them. Our group on Facebook Synergistic Illness has come up with a theory we call “Enviromental Biome Theory of Health. ” . Our environment as a whole effects our health and if you read my post on here on “It is not your genes it is your gut bacteria” or “Vaccines spread disease they do not prevent them” and many other of my post support this theory. The health of our soil is important because if it is healthy then the plants are healthy providing more nutrients. If there are chemicals and toxins in the soil they effect the body and cause us to be susceptible to things making us ill that would normally be beneficial. I covered that in my post
“Things Science has wrong”.
In this post i am showing how our gut microbiome regulate our gene expressions and our immune system. They also are responsible for all types of immunity in the body. I posted the links to the other blog post that support this at the bottom of this post.
Bifidobacterium feed each other.
If we was all like Bifidobacterium the world would be a better place.
Now if you read this study you will see that our gut microbiome regulate our immune system. It is a cycle so we need diversity. Now there are many things that can disrupt this cycle. T cells are needed to keep this cycle going and there are many things that can cause a T cell imbalance.
Over active MyD88 can lead to cancer, lupus and other autoimmune diseases , in autoimmunity TLR are up-regulated which activates MyD88 causing a cytokine storm. If you look at the studies below then look at documented vaccine injury cases you will see they are connected.
this is a good article explaining how toxins effect our gut. I have posted on things that effect the gut bacteria. Now we know that they regulate our immune system and many of our genes anything that effects our gut bacteria including dyregulation in B cells or T cells causes a loss of communication with our gut bacteria leading to chronic illness.
